Vacation Rental Description

Otsego Lake House Rental with lake access. The house is located six 
miles from Cooperstown, located on the west side of Otsego Lake. 
There is lake access across the road from the house; just a short 
walk. The house is in a secluded, quiet, wooded setting, on a hill 
away from the road.
 The house is somewhat like an "A" frame. It is multi-level with 
cathedral ceilings, skylights and ceiling fans. The Master 
bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a full size bed The 
third bedroom has a full-sized bed. The downstairs has another queen 
bed. The house is an interesting multi-level, with carpeting, an oak 
hardwood floor in the kitchen, and knotty pine throughout 
the house. 

Cooperstown is a beautiful quaint town that boasts baseball, golf, 
and lake activities. Lake activities include sailing, fishing, 
swimming, and plain relaxing. World renown, Glimmerglass Opera, is 
merely two miles from the house. There are superb golf courses at 
both ends of the lake. Each only a few miles from the house. The 
Baseball Hall of Fame, Fenimore House and Farmer's Museum are a few 
minutes drive to town. 
I maintain a NO SMOKING policy inside the house. No Pets.

Vacation Rental Amenities

House is fully furnished. Microwave, stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, 
etc. T.V., cable, and WASHER only, an outside line for 
drying. There is a Weber charcoal grill for outside cooking. Sheets 
and a limited amount of towels are provided.
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS.

Activities and Attractions

Baseball, golf, opera, lake activities, museums. Cooperstown Fun 
Park, Cooperstown Dreams Park(about 10 miles away), Baseball Hall of 
Fame, Leatherstocking golf course, Fenimore House, Farmer's Museum, 
lake tour boat, wonderful bike routes, and a state of the art 
gymnasium in town(squash,raquetball,bowling,swimming,basketball,ropes 
course, climbing walls, aerobics, fitness center, weights.) There are 
10 miles of hiking trails behind the house, which was willed to the 
state, and declared "forever wild." If you're a runner, there are 
peaceful, back roads to plod on.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates: 
June-Labor Day:$1200/wk.+ 4% bedtax. No weekend rentals during this 
time. Friday-Friday 
1/2 rent due within seven days after making reservation to confirm 
the week. A 60 day notice is 
required for cancellations.
NO SMOKING OR PETS(sorry!)

Year-round rental considered.

Call for fall and early spring week and weekend rates. Rates depend 
on the number of nights the house is occupied.

A $500 damage deposit is required, in addition to the weekly rate, 
which is promptly returned, by mail, after inspection of the house is 
complete.
