Vacation Rental Description

Visit Acadia National Park from the privacy of your own oceanfront home. 

Homeport is located in the fishing village of Bernard on the shore of Bass Harbor only 3 miles from 
the center of Southwest Harbor. Acadia offers many activities.  The free Acadia Weekly newspaper 
provides you with information about the repertory theatre, clambakes, free activities at Acadia 
National Park, hiking adventures, kayaking tours, horse drawn carriage rides; Bar Harbor whale and 
puffin cruises.  Walk to Thurston's Dock for a lobster right out of the ocean. Walk to Back Beach to 
look for seas glass.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Homeport is fully equipped with washer, dryer, dish washer, cable TV, phones, towels, and bedding.
We have a row boat for our tenants use and a kayak may be avaialble as well. There is a little 
island just off shore for exploring.

Activities and Attractions

There is golf on 3 island courses, tennis in S.W. Harbor, boating at each of the island harbors, 
hiking, biking, swimming, boating,shops, museums, theatre, great restaurants, free public 
transportation, and Park guided events all with glorious ocean and mountain views.

Vacation Rental Rates

From $900 to $2500 weekly.  Off season nightly rates available.
