Whispering Pines Cottages is a private 900 foot waterfront
property located between historic Saratoga Springs and Lake George
on a pristine portion of the Upper Hudson River in the Adirondack
Park Preserve. There is a 200 foot full sunlit sandy beach with a
swimming raft and a roped area for the youngsters. There is docking
for everything from canoes to power boats (rowboats available) and
the State Boat Launch is only minutes away. We can prearrange certain
rentals such as kayaks, bikes,etc.
Enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, strolling along our grassy
hillside, all dappled in sunlight. Need some shade? There is our
romantic gazebo, shuffleboard, play area with swings, volleyball,
badminton and horseshoes.
The natural attributes of this year-round Adirondack lifestyle are
limitless. Whispering Pines is located in the southeast corner of
the Adirondack Park, with Olympic caliber cross-country and downhill
skiing as well as snowmobiling all within driving distance, or cross-
country ski from your doorstep.
The area boasts many activities and attractions nearby as well as
many fine restaurants. Saratoga Springs, Lake George, Glens Falls
and Queensbury are all only 20 minutes away. Enjoy the excitement of
the international crowds drawn to Saratoga for the annual August
Thoroughbred Racing. Lake George offers family style fun, the
shopping mecca in Glens Falls, & the six million acre Adirondack
Park all await you! Lake Placid Olympic Village and the High peaks
region is about 1 1/2 hrs north. 

All Cottages have a screened-in porch, living room, kitchen,
equipped with refrigerator, gas stove, toaster, coffee pot, pots &
pans, cooking utensils & silverware.
Linens & towels are supplied;
You must bring beach towels & beach blankets.



All Units have cable ready TV.
Rates are based on a family of 4. (2 Adults and one or two children)
Extra person charges: $ 25.00 per day and $ 85.00 per week.
Cottages accommodate from 2-6 persons, but no more than 4 Adults in
any one unit.
Our In-season weeks run from Saturday to Saturday.
Arrival time: 2 PM Departure Time: 10:00 AM
Off-season arrival and departure times and days are flexible.
Our office closes at 11 PM; we do not have a night desk, just two
tired hosts.

Adirondack Folk School - Take a class for a day or a week & learn a true Adirondack skill in woodcraft, weaving etc.. Just for the fun of it.

We also have Olympic caliber bike races such as the Centurion Bike Race.
