Secord Lake Waterfront Vacation Rental in Gladwin

Two bedroom, fully furnished lakefront cottage. Located on the east
shore of the main part of
Secord Lake in Gladwin, Michigan. Cottage sleeps a maximum of six
people. 

Cottage is located on 100 feet of water. Rental includes use of 20
ft. dock perfect for docking your
boat and/or jet skiis.

Area is great for boating, fishing, and swimming. Located near
several golf courses and ORV trails.

Smoking not allowed

Kitchen: Full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishes,
cooking utensils, toaster, and
coffee pot. Table with seating for six.

Living room with cable television and DVD/VHS player.  Television in one bedroom.

Two bedrooms each with a full sized bed and dressers.

Additional sleeping: Full sized hide-a-bed in front sun porch

Bathroom: -One bathroom with shower.

Other amenities:
Lakeside deck with beautiful views of the sunsets.
Charcoal grill.
Patio picnic table with umbrella.
Four patio chairs for relaxing on the deck.
20 ft dock - renters can use north side of dock for docking boats
and/or jet skiis.
Five gallons of bottled water are provided each week. Additional 5
gallon bottles are $7.00 each.
Includes utilities and trash pick up once per week.

Renters are requested to bring their own sheets, towels, and paper
products. Blankets, pillows, and
mattress pads are available from the owners.

Parking for 2 cars. Parking for boat trailers is available across
the street.

Swimming - Water is approximately one foot at seawall. Sandy bottom
near seawall.

Boating - Lake has over 90 miles of shore line and is great for long
leisurely rides. As this
cottage is located on the main lake, it is perfect for skiing and
other boating activities.

Fishing - Secord Lake is excellent for fishing. In fact, there is
good fishing right from the
dock. Typical fish caught in this lake are perch, pike, crappies,
and bass.

Located 13 miles from Gladwin and it's grocery store, antique stores,
as well as other stores for
your shopping convenience. There is also a very nice restaurant and spa located on the riverfront
in Gladwin.

There are many golf courses and ORV trails within a 20 to 30 minute
drive.

Located 30 miles from West Branch which has an outlet mall and
several restaurants.

Pontoon rentals available from Secord Lake Marina 

For weekly rentals, check in time is 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Check
out tine is 10:00 a.m. on the
following Saturday.

June 1st through September 13
$700.00 per week
$250.00 per weekend (Friday through Sunday) Weekend rentals are not
available during July.

May 1 - May 24 and September 13 - October 15
$470.00 per week
$200.00 per weekend

Holiday Weekends - $110.00 per night

Security deposit is 300.00 for weekly rental and $150.00 for weekend
rental.

Rental deposit is 1/2 of the rent plus the security deposit. This is
due when booking the cottage.

Cancellation/refund policy:
Two months or more before the reservation: 100%
1 to 2 months before the reservation: 50%
2 wks to 1 month before the reservation: 25%
2 weeks or less before the reservation: 0%

One smaller dog may be allowed at the owners discretion with an
additional fee of $5.00 per night.
