Lakeside fun by day and stars by night in Beech Hill Pond

The real thing! Cozy Maine camp located within three feet of Beech Hill Pond. The camp has 100 feet of water frontage, with private deck and mooring dock.

The 900 square feet living area, nestled in a heavily-wooded area, has three bedrooms (double bed, three-quarter bed, and bunk beds). The living/dining room has large picture window with sofa and easy chair surrounding it for peaceful viewing of the pond. A delightful hammock chair adds to the enjoyment of the space. TV/DVD provided. Rustic wooden dining table seats eight. Single modern bathroom with shower.

Available at the dock are a double kayak, rowboat, and paddle boat for your water fun.

Please note that the camp is located directly on the lake at the bottom of a steep hill. Both steps and a woods path take you from the ample parking area at the top of the hill to the lakeside camp.

Beech Hill Pond is a popular destination in Maine, known for its crystal clear deep water, fishing, and swimming. It is situated halfway between Ellsworth and Bangor in the town of Otis, and about 45 minutes from Bar Harbor. There is a public boat landing and sandy beach on the pond located 2-3 miles down the camp road.

Come enjoy. The loons are waiting for you.

Full kitchen with microwave, trash compactor, refrigerator, electric
stove, and cooking utensils provided.
Wood stove heat for chilly mornings.
No W/D but plenty of extra towels and bed linens provided.
Pets considered.  Please check with landlord.
No smoking in cabin.

Take it easy pondside and enjoy the starry nights and songs of the loon. Or venture to Mt. Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park, one of America�s most popular national parks. Shop and dine in Bar Harbor or in the numerous other quaint fishing towns. Boiled lobster is a specialty of the area.

In the center of things in down east Maine, Beech Hill Pond is only 45 minute drive from Bangor International Airport.

A 7% Maine rental sales tax will be added to the above rates.

Rental is weekly only: Check in Saturday after 3 pm; Check out
Saturday before noon.

There is a $100 discount for renting more than one week.
$100 reservation deposit (applied to weekly rent)
