Welcome to paradise.....This cottage is within a small resort, just
steps from a beautiful private gulf beach. Drive into the
Tradewinds Resort, and you will find quaint, pastel colored cottages
on both sides of you hidden behind lush tropical foliage. This is a
spotless and wonderfully located hideaway resort that has won top
awards for "Superior Small Lodging and Hotels"
If you want clean and quiet, you've come to the right place...
check out:
1 bedroom with king bed (or 2 twins upon request) 1 bath, full
kitchen with open floor plan and breakfast bar, living room w/sofa
sleeper and cable TV. Two huge closets in the bedroom, one a walk-
in. 533 sq. ft. inside, 662 sq. ft. including the outdoor porch.
Everything you need is here! Fully equipped! About 100 feet from
the resort to the beautiful private beach.
You pick the dates, no limit......stay 1 day, or as long as you like!
Ours is north unit #10.
The island is very narrow here, The gulf and the Sarasota Bay, are on either sides... the pool
is on the bay by the fishing dock...and the beach is right across Gulf Drive.

Pets cannot be over 35 lbs. and there is an additional fee of $25.
The island is 7 miles long, located just south of the Tampa Bay area
and just north of Longboat Key.....on the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful
white sugar sand beaches...........and sunsets that will take your
breath away.

April 2007.....We had a fabulous time! Your place was perfect!
It was so nice to be able to walk somewhere nice for dinner,
then take your shoes off and walk home on the beach!
For most of the two weeks we were there, there was "no vacancy" -
but we never had a problem with noise, parking or getting a spot by
the pool. We have memories of Anna Maria Island that will last a

Sept. 2007 - Hi Linda, our stay at your place was WONDERFUL from the
minute we opened the door. I was very pleased with the
spaciousness, the air conditioning (so comfortable) with the paddle
fans, etc. It was immaculate and there was no lack of supplies.
We enjoyed the dock for coffee in the AM and also evening, with all
the fish activity. We would recommend your place to anyone who
asks. I came home with a beautiful suntan, and some rest which was

July 2008 - Hi Linda. I just wanted to let you know how much fun our family had at Anna Maria
Island. We all loved our cottage at the Tradewinds Resort. The location of Tradewinds Resort was
better than we could have imagined being so close to the beach and to Bridge St. with all the neat
shops. Besides relaxing at the beach as often as we could, we also found time to explore the
island, eat at fun places like the Rod & Reel Pier and take our kids parasailing. We fished off the
pier at Tradewinds and we saw three dolphins in the bay. It was also low tide one night and the
kids ventured into the bay and found starfish and crabs. I'm so glad we discovered Anna Maria
Island and look forward to visiting again next year. Robin

Heated pool on the Sarasota Bay.....Central air, laundry facilities
on site, and a fantastic fishing dock. Daily housekeeping is
provided, fresh towels, etc. There is a private barbecue grill and
picnic area. There is on-site management with a front office that
will provide beach towels and beach umbrellas for you. There is
even a free video library.
Going to Orlando? Ask me about accommodations there!

Parasailing, deep sea fishing charter boats, jet ski rentals, boat
rentals, bike rentals, and don't forget to ride the free island
trolley. Many golf courses within 1/2 hour's drive. The island is
full of fantastic restaurants and cafes, many right on the gulf.
There are plenty of unique shops including art galleries and
antiques.
Sarasota if full of culture....about a 45 minute drive, there is the
Ringling Museum, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, the Mote Marine Aquarium
(world renowned ocean/science center), and much more.
Disney World, Orlando is just about a 2 hour drive.
Drive south through beautiful Longboat Key, and you'll reach St.
Armand's Circle, on Lido Key.....abundant with outdoor cafes and
quaint boutique shops. A shopping experience you will never
forget.

Sept 8 - Feb 15, 2010 - weekly price - $770 plus departure clean fee & tax.  Daily 140 & 160

Feb. 15-Apr 15-2010 - weekly price -$1150  plus departure clean fee and tax. -  Daily 200 & 225

To make a reservation: Please contact the owner by phone or by e-
mail. We need your name, the exact dates you want to reserve, the
number of guests staying in the unit, and a phone number (for the
resort to reach you).
Either I can take all your info, or if you prefer, we will call the Tradewinds resort and give them your information.
They will then call you and complete the reservation. (get your
address and take a deposit). All credit card payments are made directly to the resort.
