L'Olmo in Florence

This beautifully restored and spacious Tuscan farmhouse close to
Florence, has terracotta floors, original beams and traditional
local furniture, and lies in 8 acres of wild flower meadows.
Enjoying spectacular views, the house is private and secluded. There
are walnut, fig, apricot and cherry trees and a profusion of
lavender, rosemary and thyme.

Main house accommodation is 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with
showers, 4 large living rooms, modern kitchen with dishwasher,
washing machine and dryer, telephone and internet access. An
additional double bedroom and bathroom is available at extra cost.

Close to the house is a 12m x 6m swimming pool with shade provided
by cherry and walnut trees. There is a magnificent covered dining
terrace with spectacular views of the Sieve Valley.

The nearest village is Londa, 10 minutes by car. It has a variety of
shops, bank, bar and two excellent restaurants. Florence is just 45
minutes by car or train.

The ground floor has a large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher
and microwave; family sitting room with large Tuscan fireplace,
sofas, satellite TV, VCR, CD player and telephone/internet access;
formal dining room; further comfortable sitting/reading room with
good supply of books and games; bathroom with bath, shower, bidet
and WC.

on the first floor there are two double-bedded rooms, one with
ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and WC; two twin-bedded
rooms; new bathroom with walk-in shower and WC. All bedrooms are
beautifully furnished with good quality mattresses, bed linens and
towels and all the bathrooms are modern. A private entrance leads to
a further pretty double bedroom with bath.

Outside there is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer;
magnificent covered dining terrace with large table, comfortable
chairs with spectacular views over the Sieve valley and lights of
Florence. A portable barbecue is available.
