Finally, first class accomodations are available in the last frontier
of SW Florida, Everglades City. This new stilt home is tastefully
decorated in a cabin motif that makes you feel like you have
transgressed into the time that Teddy Roosevelt visited the famous
Rod and Gun Club. The best view on the island, this home looks
across the Barron River at this famous landmark. Sit on your proch
and watch the manatees swim by. If you are a stone crab fan, this is
the place to get them fresh off the boat. This small, laid back town
is what we all want out of a vacation, plenty of activities when you
want them and quiet the rest of the time-quiet like you have not
experieced in a long time. Listen to the owls hoot and the ospreys
cry. These are the sounds you hear, not the bustle of a city. Come
see for yourself the best kept secret on the Gulf Coast.
