1-bedroom rustic oceanfront cottage in St Augustine

Directly on the ocean! Rustic, heart of pine paneled oceanfront cottage with cedar shake exterior and large oceanfront deck. No tv, no phone, no internet, no cable, no dishwasher, no washer/dryer...however, it is comfortably furnished and has lots of private oceanfront sandy beach. Central heat and air conditioning and a working wood-burning fireplace. One queen bed .  No smoking inside the cottage please.  The cottage is located approx. 1.5 miles north of historic St Augustine in Vilano Beach. The skyline of St Augustine is visable from our kitchen and bedroom as is the intracoastal waterway. The Atlantic Ocean is right at our front door and is visable from the livingroom, dining room and deck (see photos). Our livingroom is 50 ft from the beach. All services and activities are available within a short drive.

Normal check out time is 10:00am and check-in after 3:00pm; based on other guests arrival/departure dates we can sometimes be flexible.

Fully equiped kitchen. Microwave oven. Stereo with 3-disk cd changer. Central heating and air conditioning.  Games, books, barbeque grill, and deck chairs. No tv, no dishwasher, no washer/dryer, no phone, no internet...nothing to interrupt the sound of the surf or the view of the sea through the sea oats waving in the wind.  No smoking in the cottage please.  Bedding: one queen bed.  Sofa but not a sofa bed.  Maximum of 2 guests; no exceptions please.  A beach umbrella is provided for use on the deck; NOTE, the umbrella is easily damaged if left open on a windy day.  They cannot be repaired; replacement cost is about $200.00.  If you use the umbrella you are responsible for replacement if damaged.  

Most guests are perfectly happy with the deck and beach on the ocean. For more activities you need only drive 2 miles to America's oldest city, St Augustine. Bring your bicycles; it's an easy ride into the old city or to nearby oceanfront restaurants. 7 nights: $822.74 + $90 cleaning fee + $82.26 tax = $995.00 total cost.

6 nights: $845.45  + $90 cleaning fee + $84.55 tax = $1,020.00 total cost. 
5 nights: $704.55 + $90 cleaning fee + $70.45 tax = $865.00 total cost.
4 nights: $563.64 + $90 cleaning fee + $56.36 tax = $710.00 total cost.
3 nights: $422.73 + $90 cleaning fee + $42.27 tax = $555.00 total cost.

Additional nights:  $155.00 incuding tax.  No additional cleaning provided.

We require a 3-night minimum stay; you may stay only 1 or 2 nights, but the rate remains $555.00.

 Monthly rentsl: $2,645.45 + $264.55 tax + $90 cleaning fee = $3,000.00.  On monthly rentals, there is no maid service or additional cleaning.  Guests must bag all trash and plade it streetside (we'll go over details with you before arrival).
 

A security deposit of $300.00 is payable separate from the rental; the security deposit is refundable in full within 72 hours of check out if no loss or damage to the property.
Rates are for one or two persons only.  There is one queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa (not sofa bed) in the living room.
Rental includes lines, towels, and soap. Kitchen is fully furnished with utinsels, cookware,
coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, oven and refridgerator. The fireplace works but you
must provide your own wood or firelogs. The cottage has central heat and air conditioning.

We accept payment by visa or mastercard; phone us with the account information.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  for rentals of less than 30 days, we will refund your deposit in full if you cancel at least 5 days prior to arrival.  For rentals of one month or more, 15 days notice is required for a full refund.
