Vacation Rental Description

Spacious, recently built Warsaw Island home with private deepwater  
dock, lots of decks, and plenty of modern, up-to-date living and  
entertaining area for family and friends.  This gracious home  
spreads over 6.5 acres and has no neighbors as far as you can see,  
water on three sides, and over a hundred mature palms. One of  
several properties used in the filming of the movie Forrest Gump,  
Innisfree-by-the-Sea is convenient to Parris Island, Hunting Island  
beaches, the Gullah Culture Center on St. Helena Island, as well as  
the shops, historic waterfront, homes, and outstanding restaurants  
of downtown Beaufort.  
Air access is five minutes away at Beaufort County Airport. Parris  
Island is 12 minutes away. You are also within an hour’s drive of  
Charleston, Savannah, Bluffton Outlets shopping and Hilton Head  
Island. 
 
Best of all, you can bring your boat and be within 250 feet (the  
length of our dock) of all the crabbing, shrimping, fishing and  
boating you want in this location 17 naut. mi. from the Atlantic  
Ocean, and 6 naut. mi. from the Intracoastal Waterway near St.  
Helena Sound. 
 
My wife says our island home is the closest thing to a South Seas  
island you can get on this side of the world. From the huge master  
bath with jetted tub where you’re surrounded with palms, to the  
gorgeous sunrise views over the back deck, you’ll glory in nature  
here. You’ll see many varieties of egrets and herons—white, blue,  
green—hanging out on the dock jetting into the wide channel of  
Jenkins Creek. You’ll be tempted to view their antics with  
binoculars all morning, until you see dolphin playing in the  
currents, arching gracefully as if inviting you to play, to see  
more. Grab the furnished crab trap and bait it with last night’s  
dinner leftovers to catch tonight’s dinner (crab pot and spices  
supplied in a large modern kitchen with plenty of freezer space).  
Plan your day sitting around a large tile and wood table in a  
breakfast area with floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the water, or  
in any of the well-furnished rooms in this home. Living and dining  
rooms and bedrooms feature hardwood floors, and the two modern baths  
with water jet tubs use broad tile flooring, as does the large,  
fully furnished kitchen and eating area. Two queen beds and two twin  
beds feature fine cotton sheets; towels are luxurious.  
 
We can accommodate families or groups on vacation, or help you plan  
for a larger occasion.  
Whether for a large group or for a quiet getaway or a honeymoon,  
Innisfree-by-the-Sea is a beautiful setting straight from chamber of  
commerce pictures of Low Country living.

Private dock on deep water creek, 20 foot float; crabbing and  
shrimping gear; decks across back of entire house; rental includes  
pass to Hunting Island State Park and beach. 
Inside furnishings are premium quality, including original artwork;  
modern kitchen appliances and full equipment and utensils for  
entertaining. 
Front porch with swing; kids' rope swings in yard.  
Linens and towels provided.  
Microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, mixer/bread making  
machine, blender,washer/dryer. 
2 dining tables (8 for one, 4 for another). Gas barbecue set up. 
Fireplace,high speed Internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player, CD  
player/Radio, fully equipped  
kitchen including side-by-side oversized refrigerator,  
Master bedroom has queen sized poster bed, conversation area, walk- 
in closet. Large tiled master bath is set among palms. 
Second bedroom has queen bed; third bedroom has two single beds and  
queen sized air mattress available. 
Living room has leather sectional sofa, love seat, extra nice  
recliner, oriental rugs, attractive plants. 
No pets; no smoking.

Parris Island Marine Recruit Depot and Parris Island Museum; civil  
war fort; the Beaufort Arsenal Museum; more than 50 historic  
buildings and homes (Prince of Tides, The Big Chill, Forrest Gump  
were filmed here); festivals in March, April, May, July, October,  
November, and December; book signings and art gallery tours; Penn  
Center for Gullah Culture and Heritage; beaches, lighthouse climbing  
and environmental tours on Hunting Island, 10 miles east; local golf  
courses or  
trips to Hilton Head for close to 20 courses; shopping in the  
Downtown Beaufort shops, or visiting the waterfront for enjoying  
marina views, playing on extensive children’s playground, or eating  
on the patio of one of many area restaurants; outlet shopping in  
Bluffton/Hilton Head, and visiting nearby attractions in Savannah  
and Charleston. Boating, fishing, hunting, or walking and birding in  
the many waterways and wildlife preserves surrounding Beaufort and

Vacation Rental Rates

$195 night, 1230 week	Winter: Nov. 26-Mar. 17  
$230 night, $1450 week	Spring and Fall: Mar. 18-May 29; Sept. 4- 
Nov. 24 
$250 night, $1750 week	Summer: May 30-Sept. 3 
 
$300 refundable security deposit due within 7 days of booking. 
$100 Cleaning Fee. 50 % of rental due 60 days before arrival. Total  
rental due 30 days before arrival. 3 night minimum. Cancellations  
within 30 days of reservation date will forfeit 50% of total rental.
