Beaufort House Rental Special

vacation rental description

Plan now for the most amazing winter getaway, summer vacation or Marine graduation. Innisfree by the Sea is midway between Historic Beaufort, Parris Island, and Hunting Island Beach--and we provide a free beach pass. The Low Country ambience of Innisfree-by-the-Sea is unequalled among vacation rentals in this area.

Spacious, recently built St. Helena Island home with private deepwater dock, lots of decks, and plenty of modern, up-to-date living and entertaining area for family and friends. People tell us the pictures can't show you how beautiful and comfortable Innisfree is. And we have lots of swings, both for children and adults.

This gracious home spreads over 6.5 acres and has no neighbors as far as you can see, water on three sides, and over a hundred mature palms. One of
several properties used in the filming of the movie Forrest Gump,
Innisfree-by-the-Sea is convenient to Parris Island, Hunting Island
beaches, the Gullah Culture Center on St. Helena Island, as well as
the shops, historic waterfront, homes, and outstanding restaurants
of downtown Beaufort.

Air access is five minutes away at Beaufort County Airport. Parris
Island is 15 minutes away. You are also within an hour's drive of
Charleston, Savannah, Bluffton Outlets shopping and Hilton Head
Island. Best of all, you can bring your boat and be within 250 feet (the
length of our dock) of all the crabbing, shrimping, fishing and
boating you want in this location 17 naut. mi. from the Atlantic
Ocean, and 6 naut. mi. from the Intracoastal Waterway near St.
Helena Sound.

My wife says our island home is the closest thing to a South Seas
island you can get on this side of the world. From the huge master
bath with jetted tub where you're surrounded with palms, to the
gorgeous sunrise views over the back deck, you'll glory in nature
here. You'll see many varieties of egrets and herons--white, blue,
green--hanging out on the dock jutting into the wide channel of
our deepwater creek. You'll be tempted to view their antics with
binoculars all morning, until you see dolphin playing in the
currents, arching gracefully as if inviting you to play, to see
more. Grab the furnished crab trap and bait it with last night's
dinner leftovers to catch tonight's dinner (crab pot and spices
supplied in a large modern kitchen with plenty of freezer space).
Plan your day sitting around a large tile and wood table in a
breakfast area with floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the water, or
in any of the well-furnished rooms in this home. Living and dining
rooms and bedrooms feature hardwood floors, and the two modern baths
(jetted tubs in both) have broad tile flooring, as does the large,
fully furnished kitchen and eating area. Two queen beds and two twin
beds feature fine cotton sheets; towels are luxurious.
We can accommodate families or groups on vacation, or help you plan
for a larger occasion.
Whether for a large group or for a quiet getaway or a honeymoon,
Innisfree-by-the-Sea is a beautiful setting straight from chamber of
commerce pictures of Low Country living.

We just got home to Michigan and I had to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Innisfree ! You have a beautiful home,my mother couldn't get over how nice it was. What a perfect place to gather for our son's graduation from Marine corps recruit training. My wife, myself and our entire family could not have had a better time,or spent it in a more lovely place! Watching dolphins, crabbing, and just relaxing. It was everything we expected and more! Thank You so much,

ANOTHER GREAT VISIT!

Review submitted: September 14, 2011   Date of arrival: September 2, 2011

I rented Innisfree last year and my family enjoyed it so much, that we returned this past Labor Day weekend. It was perfect for my grandchildren ages 7 and 22 month old twins to roam, swing, fish, catch crabs and tons of jumbo shrimp! The house is clean, beautiful and a true southern feel nestled in such a private, peaceful spot. My children live locally and they are in love with this place. We celebrated my granddaughters 7th birthday and the highlight of the party was the kids catching crabs of the dock in their small crab pots. The dolphins were very active, 4-5 playing off the dock nightly. The bugs were bad this year, so bring plenty of bug spray. The black lab, March, and his friend a german shepard greated us each morning and evening. Enjoyed shopping in nearby Frogmore and a trip to the beach on Hunting Island. The location, amenities, and the quality of the property makes this one of my most favorite places to stay in S.C. My kids want us to make this stay a yearly event! Thanks Estelle for sharing your beautiful home with my family once again. We are making lots of beautiful memories. As my 7-year old granddaughter put it..."this is the most awesomust place to have my birthday...can we do it again grandma?"

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway

Owners response: We are so excited that many of our guests return for visits year after year! I like it that families have room to spread out and enjoy each other on docks, decks, and porches!

Better than expected!

Review submitted: June 7, 2011   Date of arrival: May 27, 2011

Rarely do we go somewhere and have the property better than we expected. What a surprise it was to drive up and see a wonderful southern home with the most beautiful property surrounding it. The back of the house has a very large deck that was where we spent most of our time. The dock was really close and our son brought his boat around and kept it there the entire time. Everyone enjoyed fishing and catching crabs at the dock. If your up early enough there is also a beautiful sunrise every morning. The property is very peaceful and private. From this location we were able to visit Savannah, Bluffton and Beaufort. Nothing was too far away. We do plan to return sometime in the future.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Owners response: We are so pleased to have visitors who appreciate the beauty of the Low Country. And we have lots of return guests, so we'll look forward to a repeat!
