For your entertainment pleasure, Starburst's main living area boasts a 55" 1080p flat panel TV with DVR, access to hi-def channels and multiple free movie channels, including (at the time of this writing) Showtime, The Movie Channel, FLIX, Sundance Channel, Starz and Encore, and also a DVD player and mini stereo system. The 3rd floor master has a 46" flat panel TV and DVD player, the 2nd floor master has a 40" flat panel TV and DVD player, and the two queen bedrooms each offer a 32" flat panel TV and a DVD player. The house also offers super hi-speed wireless internet access (advertised by Mediacom as up to 15 Mbps). 

Starburst is a spectacular Caribbean-style beach home that sits atop a 30-foot bluff overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. This luxurious beachfront home offers an unobstructed view of the Gulf's emerald green waters, has its own small private pool and is conveniently located immediately adjacent to the community's path to the beach. Starburst is located in the private gated community of Water's Edge adjoining Rosemary Beach.

With five large bedrooms and four and one-half lavish bathrooms, this innovative beach home is perfect for 12 guests to sleep and unwind comfortably.

Here is a brief summary of Starburst's layout:

1st floor - entry foyer; 2 queen bedrooms and a shared bath; bunk room with its own bathroom
2nd floor - main living area; kitchen; dining area; powder room (half bath); gulf-side balcony; king master suite; small street-side balcony off king bedroom
3rd floor - a second king master suite; separate sitting room with wet bar and small refrigerator; gulf-side balcony

And now for a more complete description:

First floor: As you enter Starburst, you are welcomed into a beautiful slate quartzite foyer and hallway with 10 foot ceilings. There are two large queen-size guest rooms that share a large bathroom with tall, built-in bath cabinetry. Also on the first floor is a unique bunkroom for the kids. This kid-friendly space has a unique triple-decker built-in bunk and a separate built-in, twin bed (a total of four full-length twin beds). The bunkroom boasts its own full bathroom with shower.

On the ground level exterior beachside of Starburst, you can enjoy the outdoors in the well-designed pool and sunbathing area, which is completely enclosed by your own stucco privacy fence. The pool area has a gate opening directly onto the path to the beach walkover. Just step out of the gate onto the path, go about a hundred feet, and you are at the steps down to the Emerald Coast beach.

Second floor: The second floor of Starburst houses the main living area, kithen, dining area, half bath and one of the two king master suites. With lofty ten-foot ceilings, much of your vacation will be spent enjoying the main living area that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. The living area offers a large flat panel TV with DVR, access to hi-def channels and multiple free movie channels, a DVD player, mini CD/stereo sound system, and comfortable furnishings to entertain or just kick-back. The main living area opens onto a private balcony, where you can enjoy those fabulous sunsets or become mesmerized by the Gulf's emerald green waters.

Starburst's gourmet kitchen is a culinary delight, in both space and functionality. A huge, custom, two-tiered, granite island seats four comfortably. Equipped with the best cookware, stainless-steel appliances, a built-in wine rack, granite countertops, stone slate backsplashes, and custom glass cabinetry - this ultimate kitchen will please both the eye and the palate.

The second-floor master bedroom suite offers a plush king-size bed and large private bathroom with walk-in double shower. Open the double French doors from the bedroom and step out to your own small private balcony.

Third floor: On the third floor of Starburst, you  will find the second king master suite, along with a separate small sitting room equipped with a stone/slate wet bar, stainless-steel bar sink, and mini-refrigerator. Follow this room out to your own private third-story Gulf-front balcony, which overlooks the beach and the amazing Gulf of Mexico, a terrific adult retreat for sunrise and sunset views. The third floor master suite boasts a large bedroom with a king bed and it's own spacious bathroom with large soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower. 

Starburst sleeps 12 guests comfortably: two kings, two queens, and four full-length twin beds. Parking for three cars (one covered). Saturday to Saturday rental during high season. Non-smoking. No pets.
