Vacation Rental Description

Thank you to everyone who reserved vacation time at "Tranquility 
on the Bluff" the upcoming 2008 season. 

New for the summer of 2008. Central Air Conditioning.

2008 will be our 14th season of rentals.

We are now taking reservations for 2009.

As of May 14, 2008, the following 2008 Peak Summer weeks are available;  June 22-29, 
Aug. 24-31, and Aug. 31-Sept. 7.

Please check the calender for: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and 2009 availability.

Also known as "Tranquility on the Bluff". The home received its' name, because it is located in an 
area of Yates County, known as Bluff Point. Bluff Point is the peninsula what separates the East 
and West branches of Keuka Lake. Long ago the shores of Keuka Lake were surrounded by vineyards 
and dotted with steamboat landings to ferry people and agricultural products to the three towns on 
Keuka Lake. Over time the vineyards were abandoned and were gradually replaced with campsites, 
seasonal cottages and year round homes.

"Tranquility on the Bluff" is an awesome home for your next vacation, family reunion, or corporate 
retreat. This home was built in 1995 and has approximately 2000 square feet of living space, 
including four bedrooms, two full baths, living room, dining area, kitchen area, recreation 
room, and a partially-covered deck. The home faces West and is located near the tip of the peninsula 
that seperates the East and West branches of Keuka Lake.

The main floor has a living room, dining area and kitchen which are part of an open floor plan that 
includes a cathedral ceiling and skylights. Additionally there are three bedrooms. One of the 
bedrooms has a full-size beds and faces Keuka Lake. The second bed room has a queen-size bed and 
also faces Keuka . The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and its own private full bathroom with a 
shower and is on the back side of the home. Off the main hall is a full bathroom with a tub/shower. 
Adjacent to the dining area is a fabulous, partially-covered deck. The deck is furnished with tables 
and chairs. Around the deck is a railing and fence with latchable gates. The deck faces the lake and 
is fantastic for dining, relaxing, and enjoying the breath-taking Keuka Lake sunsets.

The lower level has a bedroom, recreation room, and utility room. The bedroom has a king-size bed 
and a sliding glass door that opens onto a small patio overlooking Keuka Lake. The recreation room 
is equipped with two day beds with trundles. Additionally, the recreation room has a large window 
that faces Keuka Lake.

The home is surrounded on three sides with woods. There is a large off-street parking area for at 
least six vehicles. The parking area is at the end of a long private driveway and within 20 feet of 
the house. Also, adjacent to the parking area is a fire ring surrounded by benches. This is a 
fantastic place to spend a romantic evening or gather with your family and roast marshmallows under 
the stars.

Access to the lake is located in front of the home via a path and stairs with 17 steps at the lake. 
The shoreline consists of 450 plus feet of natural unspoiled shoreline, 40 plus foot dock, swim 
raft and mooring buoy. The swimming area water has a gradual increase in water depth from the beach 
and the lake bottom is hard and consists of shale, stones and rocks of various sizes.

Bed summary: One king, two queen, one full, and four singles.

The home does not include linens or towels. Linens and towels are available for $90.00, please 
reserve at time of reservation.

There is a $150.00 house cleaning fee, a $250.00 security deposit, and a 4% Yates County Lodging Tax 
on the rental fee.

"Tranquility on the Bluff" is a fantastic home for your next vacation, family reunion, or corporate 
retreat. You will feel far away from the rest of the world on this very private eleven acre 
estate.

Vacation Rental Rates

Off Season:  Jan 11-March 1, 08.   Closed for the Winter.

Pre-Season:  March 1-June 22, 08. $195/night. 2 night minimum. $895/week.

Peak Season: June 22-Sep 7, 08. $2,750/week. Full Weeks Only. Sun.-Sun.

Post season: Sept. 7-Jan. 7, 09. $195/night. 2 night minimum. $895/week.

Post Season: Sept. 11-Jan 10, 08. $195/night. 2 night minimum $895/week. 

*Five nights Package* $595/5 nights. Available  March 1, 2008 - May 
13, 2008 Sept. 17 - Dec 17, 2008 . Just arrive 3pm or later 
Thursday and depart by 10am Tuesday.
