Keuka Kottage - Drive To Door!! in Keuka Lake

Welcome to our GETAWAY IN THE FINGERLAKES!
Our little slice of paradise is located on the east side, at the foot of Keuka Lake. From the
intersection of Rtes 54 & 54A, you are 2 minutes to our door ! No stairs, no hassle! Easy to unload
luggage or groceries, we are one of the rare properties that is a drive to. What an easy way to
start your vacation! The cottage is nestled in the trees right next to its own little waterfall that
is truly unique & relaxing, especially just after a nice summer rain. In front of you is our
spacious lawn/parking area for 3 cars. There is overflow parking available just above the cottage on
the lower road; also great spot to leave your empty boat trailer! There is a cozy fire pit on the
water's edge to enjoy at your leisure. If you've brought your own boat, you can launch it 5 miunutes
away, free of charge, in Hammondsport & tie up to our 30'long x 13' wide dock. Plenty of depth at
the end of it for diving, waterskiing of fishing. (Greatfishing, by the way). Getting out of the
water is a snap- either walk right out on the pebbles at the southern end or use our retractable
ladder mounted on the dock.
The cottage was recently renovated, inside & out! A new 500 sq/ft plus deck wrapping around the
cottage on three sides. Eight person lawn set with umbrella to entertain your friends or enjoy a
quiet meal outside under the stars. There is even a small porch to keep you dry if it sprinkles!
Inside, the cottage is brand new, top to bottom! New furniture, beds, linoleum, carpeting & paint. .
We tried to make it Our Home Away From Home with a Nantucket country flair! There are new Serta
beds - Two (2) queens, one (1) full size. Also, there is a large bath with fiberglass enclosure. The
living room, sitting room & kitchen are the open floor plan design. Kitchen features a large tile
topped island that will accomodate 6-8 people on tall oak swivel chairs. Sun room is the bright,
airy spot with 2-6' sliders. It even has a double pull out sofa for those extra guests.

The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. All you need to bring is
your linens, towels, paper products & dish towels. Beds have pillows, quilt tops & blankets.  
Cookwear & utencils, glasswear, electric cooktop with oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster
oven & coffee maker are provided. Living room has a leather loveseat, flat screen cable TV with DVD, a phone with
a fax/answering machine. HIGH SPEED INTERNET WITH WI-FI for your convenience! And if it gets hot,
turn on the window air conditioner & cool down or if it gets cool, turn on the propane fire place &
heat the whole place up! All new thermal pane windows & doors insulate and soundproof. Two grills-
one gas, one charcoal.
For those guests that are considering a powerboat to enhance their vacation, we have a 19'
Sea Ray 190 Bowrider that is available for rent, complete with it's own electric boat lift & boathouse! For those interested in a slower pace on the water
combined with a little excercise, there is a 15' canoe for all to use complete with anchor, paddles & PFD's.

Our location is truly perfect! We are only 5 minutes from the charming & historic village of
Hammondsport. Banking, grocery store, post office, gift & antique shops, hardware stores, liquor
store & some of the best resturants in the area. In the center of town, is the bandstand where all
summer long there are concerts and other types of free entertainment. You feel like you've gone back
in time- what a wonderful way to get away from it all! Right nearby is the Glen Curtiss Aircraft Museum. And of course, what the Finger Lakes is famous for-
the wineries & the Wine Trail. Heron Hill, Bully Hill, Great Western, Pleasant Valley Wineries are
your starting point for dozens of excellent wineries on the Tour.

2010 Season:
In Season: $2050/weekly - Memorial Day Week through Labor Day Week
$345/nightly (2 night minimum)
Off Season: $1350/weekly
$250/nightly (3 night minimum)
Your $350 security deposit will hold your reservation; the remainder of your rental fee is due 30 days prior to
the start of your vacation. The deposit is non-refundable if there is a cancellation; however, after
your departure, if the property is left as clean & neat as you found it, the security deposit will
be gratiously returned. Pets are welcomed, they're family too! All we ask, is an additional $65 per
pet that is non-refundable.
