chalet in Lake Placid.
Located on a quiet residential road on 1 acre of property, you have
complete privacy and at times it seems as though you're all alone in
the Adirondacks. Sit out on the front deck for cocktails and enjoy
the view facing west. West facing means that you have a mountain
view and the sunset. Combine the two with the sun setting behind the
mountains and it makes for an incredible mountain experience.
Speaking of the view, the house sits about 30' above the road grade,
giving you unobstructed views of the mountains from the deck -
no houses to impede your view - try that with a rental condominium.
The fireplace is gas, and operated by remote control. No more
fiddling with wood or matches. Simply press and button, control the
level of the flame you want and voila! Instant romance.
Rain? Don't worry - if you don't like the weather in the mountains,
wait ten minutes. But even if the weather doesn't improve after the
wait, you're in a spacious house. You can all spread out and even
seek privacy in the bedrooms. There are plenty of books and games
on-site, and if multi-media is more your style, Radio, CD, TV, and
DVD are all at your beckoning.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities to create all
your meals. Chances are you'll try some of Lake Placid's dining
establishment, and I have created my own dining guide that I send to
all renters upon booking. It has some personal experiences from
someone who has spent time trying out the good, the bad, and
the "ugly".

are in US Dollars, payable by cash, check, or PayPal. Weekly rentals
are 7 nights, usually a Saturday arrival/departure. Alternate
arrival and departure days can be made - contact us directly, we're
very flexible.
