The cottage, named "Gracie Anna" allows you to feel you have stepped
back in time when lake side cottages were the family vacation. You
park a few feet from the front door of the cottage which is located
on
the west side of Cayuga Lake, just 10 miles south of Seneca Falls.
The cottage is tastefully decorated with comfortable vintage
furniture
with ample positions to view the magnificent lake. You can sit in
the
chaise and view the lake, sit on the covered porch and watch the day
drift by or sun yourself on the lakeside deck or on the private dock.
The cottage, which is 22 ft from the lake, has 2 bedrooms with a/c.
Queen size bed in 1 room, 2 twins in the other. There is a day bed/trundle
that can sleep two. One bath with shower. Kitchen in fully
appointed with stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and
kitchen utensils. There is a gas grill provided.
Owner lives 1 mile away, who you will only see at check in and check
out but is available to be sure your stay is comfortable and hassle
free.

activities and attractions in Cayuga Lake Finger Lakes
Located 10 miles south of Seneca Falls, you are on the wine trail. 6
wineries within 5 minutes, more than you can visit in a day within a
half hour.
If you want day trips, you are less than 1 hour from Syracuse,
Rochester and Ithaca. 15 minutes, you can shop at an Outlet center
or
Bass Pro Shop.
If you are into boating, you have a 40 mile long lake at your front
door. A NYS boat launch is 4 miles away and you can dock your boat
in
a hoist during your stay. Wineries and restaurants have docks for
their patrons. Cayuga Lake has lake trout and bass galore. You can
swim off your dock in clear lake water (water shoes recommended).
There are many fine restaurants within a half hour of your door. We
provide literature to help you plan your stay.
There are 4 golf courses within 15 minutes, several more within a
half hour. If your game is up to it, 2 hours away is the Oneida Nation
with 3 PGA class golf courses, home of a PGA tour stop. They also
have a great casino, and national entertainment.
vacation rental rates
Rates for 2008:
May 3rd to June 14 and Sept 14 to the end of November: You can rent by
the night for this time period.
Sunday night thru Thursday night, $100 per night. Friday and Saturday
night, $150 per night. Deposit to hold reservation and security
deposit:50% of the rental fee for the time period chosen. Full time
period payment due at check in.
June 15 to September 15 $950 per week (Full week only)
$300 deposit to hold reservation, only refundable if we can re-book.
The $300 becomes security deposit and is refunded after stay. Full
week payment due at check in.
Ithaca College and Cornell graduation weekend (Friday, Saturday and
Sunday night) $500. Deposit/Security $250.
Maximum 6 persons staying overnight without prior approval.
Rental for a full week in season is Sunday to Saturday, check in 10 am
Sunday, check out 3 pm
Saturday.
Linen and towels are provided. You are to provide drinking water.
This is a no smoking cottage and no pets allowed with out
permission.
We are closed for updating and renovations maybe November and definitely December, January, February, March and April each year.
