Large private beach retreat home (5 br/3ba, 1936 square feet) on a
very private street, just 2 houses or about 400-500 feet to nearly
private West Gulf Drive beach, a beach noted for its good shelling.

This is a 5 bedroom home, and the regular sized 5th bedroom
has the computer desk as well as a full bed. Wireless and
high speed internet, as well as unlimited long distance is
provided.

Bed arrangements in the 5 BR's, by bedroom, are: King / King / King / Twin & Twin / Full.

This home has two master bedroom suites, each with their own ensuite private bath.
The third (public) bath is at the other side of the house with the other 3 bedrooms.

All rooms are large and airy. Vaulted ceilings. Large pool and
standalone hot tub. Recently remodeled. Very large home with room for
8-10 persons easily, even at the large dining room table. Value
priced for a home this size (5 br/3ba) which is very difficult to
find on Sanibel Island (Captiva has more of this size home, but is
much more costly).

Everything you may need for a relaxing beach getaway is provided, all
you need to bring is your food, clothing and personal items.

Many folks love having 2 full sized refrigerators for their large group also.

Shelling! Sanibel is rated as the Number 1 best place in the US for
finding seashells. Number 3 in the world, after a beach in either
Australia and Phillipines.

Quiet relaxing retreat, great for family get-togethers. If you're
looking for nightlife, then Sanibel is NOT your place, try Miami,
Fort Lauderdale or that area.

Nature, wildlife, shelling, bicycling (Sanibel has 26 miles of bike
paths), beautiful sunsets, peace and relaxation in the hot tub.
Boating, kayaking, bird-watching, Ding Darling nature preserve and
all water sports such as fishing.

Two thirds of Sanibel Island is a nature preserve with an a wide
variety of native birds and wildlife including turtles, manatees,
dolphins, sting rays, herons, egrets, owls, fish hawks or osprey,
spoonbills, pelicans, and alligators. South West Florida has the
warmest winter climates in the continental US.

- 11% FL bed tax (required)
- cleaning fee
- pet deposit, if any,
- refundable security deposit
- Guest Electrical allowance is $250, additional usage is guests' responsibility *

* Electrical allowance is applied to the electrical usage during the guests stay.
The usage of electricity is primarily pool heating, heating and a/c (in that cost order).
Usage over $250 allowance is charged to security deposit.

Since usual electric bill is less than $250 allowance,
most guests do not have to pay any electricity overage
(except those guests who wish to heat the pool
above 80-82 degrees). The hot tub uses virtually no
electricity, but if guests desire to heat the pool
to higher temps, then the electrical bill will reflect this.

several have hot tubs and all are very close to the very uncrowded,
great shelling beach - the West Gulf Drive Beach.

**** PLEASE NOTE ****
∆ Sanibel Island zoning law requires a 28 day minimum rental for
ALL private vacation home rentals. This is a law, not a suggestion,
and we must rent all of our vacation homes for a minimum of 4 weeks!

If you wish to rent for less than 28 nights or 4 weeks,
please check the Sanibel Chamber of Commerce's website for
accommodations, or call the Chamber at 239~472~1080. Sanibel condos,
motels and cottages, and Captiva houses are not restricted by
Sanibel's 28 day minimum rule and may rent for shorter date periods.
