Mountain Cabin with Incredible Views in Estes Park

Beautiful and Relaxing Cabin

My family and I were looking to vacation in the mountains for the first time. This cabin was everything we wanted and more. It is only a few minutes from downtown Estes Park, but still up on the mountainside. The view from the deck is truly spectacular. We spent every morning on the deck having coffee and breakfast. Feeling the warmth of the sun popping up over the mountains was simply unforgetable. Although there are a few homes nearby, you can't really see them unless you are looking for them. The cabin was exceptionally clean and neat, and also well stocked. Bob and Karen thought of everything a traveler may have needed in a pinch. Everything smelled very fresh and clean, especially towels and sheets. I am very particular about cleanliness, and felt very much at home there. The cabin was exactly like the pictures, but of course was even better in person! My children actually squeeled with delight the first time we walked through the door. The sunroom was amazing at all times of the day. Karen was a delight to work with as she immediately responded to every inquiry we had. I never had to wait on her response. This was a wonderful home to stay in with our 2 young children. We couldn't have dreamed it any better. Our hike around Bear Lake, and from there on to Alberta Falls was our favorite outing.The beauty there was unmatched and undoubtedly a gift from above. It was just a short drive to get to Bear Lake from the cabin, and was a great activity for our 7 and 4 year old. Our other favorite activity was walking the riverwalk in downtown Estes. The kids loved the rushing river along the shops. Poppy's Pizza and Grill was collectively our favorite restaurant along the riverwalk. I can promise anyone who is contemplating this cabin, that it is a wonderful choice and you won't be sorry. I had previously read thousands of cabin reviews on vrbo, and I am so glad I chose this cabin. Rest assured, it is worth every penny! We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful visit in Estes Park. The cabin was neat and very well equipped.
The bedding was lush and the kitchen contained quality pots and pans...even a cook book. There were brochures for local activities and restaurants but I especially enjoyed the journal that was left by previous guest detailing their exploits in the area! The front room was by far my favorite. The view is breathtaking. Karen responded to my questions quickly via e-mail. I almost passed this listing because the photo made the home look so small. It actually sits up on a hill making it difficult to photograph. Don't be fooled, there is a lot of special things about this property.

Great Little Cabin in a Beautiful setting!

We have stayed all over Estes and I have to say that this has been one of my favorite homes to stay in. It had a nice view with a great deck and lots of deer and even a bear visited us! It's decor reminded me of the store Pottery Barn. I would highly recommend renting this property for a small family. The only thing I missed was cable but who needs to watch TV when you are in the mountains!!
