Vacation Rental Description

A comfortable two bedroom home within the gated Santa Domingo 
Community. Just four or five blocks walk down hill to the center of 
town. If you don't like hard breathing, take the taxi back for two 
dollars.  We bought the place because we like the Mexican feel and 
casual layout.  Great for four people with a pullout futon for an 
extra person. The house has two levels; laundry, kitchen, dining and 
living room and on the other are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. 
There is the third level which is the roof terrace, nice views and 
the place to hang with libations and contemplate manana.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The place is easy. We have a manager who you can contact if you have 
questions about the house or any problems.  We have a maid who comes 
three times a week, she fastidiously cleans, makes the beds and does 
the laundry.  There is a health club in the complex, there are two 
passes included for the 80 foot long pool and the exercise room. The 
other option is that you walk home instead of taking the taxi.  
There is hi-speed internet access and a printer. Two TVs with 
expanded satelite coverage, US stations. DVD player and telephone. 
There is also parking available on site. 

Activities and Attractions

A great place to hang.  Obviously it is not for the beach crowd but 
that's why you are here.  A place to hang back and connect with 
Mexican culture, a town with historic and architectural 
significance, a non touristy environment and a good mix of 
restaurants and shopping.  There are a lot of fun side trips, the 
hot springs, pottery tours, and historic cities like Querertaro and 
Guanajato.  We took a trip last year to Xillitle, made famous by the 
English eccentric Edward James, you will get insight on the term 
eccentric after a visit.

Vacation Rental Rates

Week     -  $750.00
Monthly  -  $1900.00
Longer term rental available, inquire.
Week or monthly deposit required.  Will be returned after payment 
of phone and gas charges.
