Casa Que Canta (The House that Sings) consists of two complete two bedroom homes (separate kitchens, living room, dining room, and bathrooms) connected together by a central courtyard on the ground level and a large balcony area on the second level. The units may be rented individually or in combination for up to 12 adults. The villa is a private home located 5 miles north of Majahual Mexico - considered the number one cruise ship destination in Mexico during 2007. The beaches are powder white coral sand protected by a coral reef just 150 yards off shore. Ideal for swimming, sun bathing, and providing world class snorkeling and diving. The nearby town of Majahual is very relaxed with a brand new Malecon (pedestrians only) - good restaurants - jet skiing and shops. Diving and fishing are available and the scuba diving is exceptional. The villa itself is fully self contained with solar electric, gas stove and hot water. Drinking water is bottled and supplied with the unit. Both units include daily maid service and linens. This is a totally new privately owned villa available for the 1st time in the
for winter of 2007. The interior native stone flooring of Tikul and Conchuela with counter tops of Emerald Green Honduran Verde Tikal. Court yard has a garden and fountain. Design was done by Ricardo Romay - a well know and respected Mexican Architect - his work has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Doors and windows are all native hardwoods - handcrafted of Granadilla,

We have added a small roof top pool that is great when you tire of the salt water. The view is spectacular particularly at night when there appear to be an infininte number of stars that you can almos reach and touch.

We can also arrange a great massage right on the beach in front of the villa. The cost is low and it is a great way to relax.

Majahual was the most popular cruise ship destination in the Carribean
prior to Hurricane Dean. The Mexican government has invested heavliy the last year and the town is rapidly being rebuilt. New restaurants open each day, diving and snorkeling is available and world class, horse back riding nearby, several great Mayan ruins within an hour. Lake Bacalar and the Cenote Azul are close - perhaps the most stunning fresh water lake you will ever see. Plus you can just lounge on the powder white sand beach and enjoy your own private piece of paradise.

We have recently added charter open water and FlyFishing at the villa with some of the top guides on the coast. Fish the Bay of Chetumal or the nearby lakes for Tarpon, Snook, or Bonefish. Off shore go after Barracuda, Grouper, Mackeral, and Mahi Mahi. The fishing is excellent and our guides are the best. Englilsh speaking available.
