No Shoes, No Shirts, Just a Beautiful Beach in Akumal

This spacious and brightly colored two bedroom and two bathroom
condo overlooks beautiful Half-Moon Bay with its white sand beaches
and the Carribean Sea. There is a/c in each of the bedrooms along
with ceiling fans for making sleeping more comfortable in the hot and humid months, and there are two more ceiling fans in the living
room/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is daily
maid service. There is a fresh water swimming pool on the property
and a bonus of one of the best restaurants in all of Akumal - La
Lunita is on-site.

Each bedroom has a TV and VCR/DVD player for viewing movies.  Some
movies are available in the unit for no charge. There is a stereo
unit in the living room along with a collection of Cd's. The guest  bedroom has its own balcony overlooking the mangroves. There is a
safe deposit box for security of personal articles in the master
bedroom. Loss of the safety deposit key will result in a very expensive charge added on to the rental rate to cover the cost of a locksmith drilling out the lock and replacing the key.
This condo was completely remodeled in 2004 with new floor tile, and
Mexican marble in both bathrooms. In 2008 a entension of the balcony on the ocean side was added and the roof over the balcony was also extended.

Swimming, snorkeling in either Half-Moon Bay or Yal-Kul Lagoon,
scuba diving in the ocean or cenotes, golf nearby in Puerto
Adventuras or Playa del Carmen. Mayan ruins in Tulum (20 min drive)
or Coba (about 40 miles)or others for a longer drive. Shopping, and
dining at 7 different restaurants within walking distance with La Lunita Restaurant on-site in our building.  No extra charge for room service from La Lunita.

$200 US per night (January 2, 2011 to April 30, 2011) + taxes
$175 US per night (May 1,2011 to Aug 31, 2011 and Nov.29, 2011 - Dec. 18, 2011) + taxes

$150 US per night (Sept.1, 2011 - Nov. 21,2011) + taxes
$300 US per night (Christmas  Dec. 19, 2011 to Jan 1, 2012) + taxes

Thanksgiving is considered part of Holiday season rates.

There is a extra charge of $25.00/per day for the 5th person,  to cover costs of linens, towels, water useage etc.

 ** All payments (deposits etc.) must be processed through Mexico
by credit card only. Payments may be accepted by contacting our
office manager by sending us a email and we will forward the email
address for the office manager to you. For information on making a
deposit for a specific time period, contact us at the above email
link and we will send you further information.

Payments made in Mexico will be in pesos, as the daily exhange rate which can change daily.  **Note for US citizens many credit card companies charge 3% of the total for any tranactions made internationally.

***EFFECTIVE JAN 1, 2011 TAXES WILL NO LONGER BE INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL RATES STRUCTURE POSTED ABOVE BUT WILL BE ADDED ON TO THE BASE RENTAL RATE.  THE CURRENT TAX RATE IS 14%.
