Hawk's View Chalet has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, making it a wonderful home
for families and friends to share. Many amenities include all linens,
washer/dryer, gas fireplace, cable TV, WIFI access, hot tub private pool (call to
determine opening and closing dates), expansive landscaped yard with creek,
decks, grill, full amenity kitchen, XL two car garage, ample parking, views and
privacy! 

Three of the four bedrooms are on the easily accessible ground floor.
3 bedrooms have Queen beds and the "Master Bedroom" has a King bed,
full private bath with tub, separate shower & double sinks and a small & private
bedroom with double bed opens into the King bedroom for extra sleeping space
and sleeping flexibility.  The fourth bedroom with Queen bed is located in "The
Loft Retreat" is privately located upstairs. A full amenity kitchen with open
dining area is well appointed with an island with sink, dishwasher,
refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, and plenty of cooking amenities &
dishware. The main living area has cathedral ceilings to capture the views. A
gas fireplace is on one end of this family gathering area.

A location with easy access that just can't be beat! 15 minutes North of
Downtown Asheville & just minutes to the the delightful little walking town of
Weaverville. Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway - just 4 miles away via
scenic Ox Creek Road to Bull Gap (approximately BRP mm 375). Reems Creek
Golf Course and Vance Birth"down the road." The Biltmore Estate is
conveniently located in Asheville and skiing is about 20 miles away in lovely
Wolf Laurel, just west (north) on I-26.

Besides enjoying the wonderful lodgewith many added amenities, the private
grounds capture the wonderful mountain spirit of Western North Carolina.
Children will surely enjoy the creek with cute little "screen play house" that sits
over the babbling brook, stroll around the wonderfully private lanscaped yard.
Lovely mountain views will inspire you. And if that's not enough, take a swim in
the pool out back (usually open May through September - inquire about pool openings & closings). You will want to come back to Hawk's View Chalet!

Western NC is a wonderful summer vacation spot. Area activities within a 5-10 minute drive include Reems Creek Golf Course, just minutes away, Vance Birthplace (enjoy the candlelight tour of the Vance House on December 13, 2009), Historic & charming Historic Weaverville, Blue Ridge Parkway, On the Art Safari Tour (April & November 7-8, 2009 this year), groceries, shopping & dining. 

Within 15 - 20 minutes, you will have easy access to the greater Asheville Area, Downtown Asheville, The Biltmore Estate and more!!

Rates vary depending on Season & # of nights staying.  The more nights you stay, the lower the nightly rate, the more week days you stay, the more you save!  Minimum stay requirements apply:

Low Season: 1st Sunday in January after NYD through first Thursday in April, 2 night min stay.

Mid Season: April through Friday in May before Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, November through mid December, excepting Thanksgiving Week. 3 night min stay required

High Seasons: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Holiday Weeks - 5 night minimum stay required. 

Leaf season (1st Friday in October through till first Sunday in November) - 4 night minimum stay required.

Short stays may be available on short notice (w/in 30 days), where there are "pinch nights" and on weekday nights, with a $50 surcharge added to totals.

Add 10.75% taxes to all totals, except monthly stays when no tax is required.

Pets OK, add $10/night/pet, or $50 /pet/stay, whichever is less (non-refundable

privilege fee).  Must agree to pet agreement:

No pets on furniture, clean pet-waste out of yard, crate unattended pets indoors.  The pet fee is a privilege fee not a damage deposit.  Should your pet cause any additional damages, violate the pet agreement or be the cause excessive cleaning, additional fees will be charged in excess of the privilege fee.
