Vacation Rental Description

Pa'u Hana, meaning after work leisure time, is the perfect place to 
get away from it all! This gorgeous cabin sits above the Middle Fork 
of the Payette River and provides breathtaking views of the area. 
Wildlife viewing is spectacular - from bald eagles that alight on 
the beach, deer and elk that travel across the property, to the 
beavers and otters playing in the river - you won't be disappointed. 
The private beach area is a great place for put-in or take-out for 
your float trip or just a great place to relax and play in the 
water. Enjoy evenings under the stars at the outdoor fire pit or 
soak your cares away in the hot tub overlooking the river! This 
mountain retreat has three bedrooms - the master with a soaking tub 
and queen bed, the second with another queen and the third with a 
full bed with twin bunk on top. The loft area has a full futon and 
foosball table. The large dining table is a great gathering place 
for families and game playing or just catching up. Come and let your 
cares drift away as you enjoy the solitude and beauty of Garden 
Valley!

Pa'u Hana Ranch is completely furnished, has a washer/dryer, mud 
room, satellite TV, DVD/VCR player, stereo, outdoor fire pit, indoor 
gas log fireplace, gas BBQ and telephone.

Activities and Attractions

Garden Valley is nestled along the Wildlife Canyon Scenic Byway and 
is the perfect vacation/getaway destination for all seasons!  

A sure cure for cabin fever, the Garden Valley snowmobile trail 
system encompasses over 850 miles with several trailheads. If you 
are into downhill skiing, two awesome resorts, Brundage Mountain and 
Tamarack are just a short drive away.  Cross-country skiing and snow 
shoeing is accessed all over the area.  Relax in one of the areas 
natural hot springs, one of the year-round geothermal swimming pools 
or your own private hot tub!  

Situated between the Middle and South Forks of the Payette River, 
Garden Valley provides tons of water sport adventures.  The Middle 
Fork provides canoeing, gentle kayaking, tubing, fishing and 
swimming.  The South Fork is an advanced whitewater run for one, two 
or three days of excitement.  The paths that make snowmobilers and 
cross country skiers happy in the winter transform into ATV, 
mountain biking and hiking trails for a sightseer's paradise.  Enjoy 
a warm evening under the stars at Garden Valley's famous Starlight 
Mountain Theater providing Broadway's best musicals from June thru 
September.

Spring is the perfect time to relax and enjoy nature at its finest.  
Hike, bike, walk or just stroll around and be the first to spot the 
newborn kit foxes or the colorful display of new spring bulbs.  
Enjoy a round of golf on the beautiful 18-hole golf course at 
Terrace Lakes.  Fall is an ideal time for wildlife viewing along the 
South Fork of the Payette River, a migratory route for large herds 
of elk and deer.  Eagles, osprey, geese, fox, and black bear may 
also be seen along the banks of the river.  The area offers a 
variety of hunting, including elk, deer, and wild turkey.  Fall is 
the time for rodeo in Garden Valley, grab a seat and enjoy the calf-
roping or barrel racing, or better yet, bring your own horses for 
excellent opportunities, be it day rides or extended pack trips.

Vacation Rental Rates

Published rates are based on four person occupancy.  Please add $10 
per person per night for people over the first four.  Cleaning fee, 
sales and lodging tax will apply.
