Starbright is a beautiful home, professionally decorated and furnished in a "beachy" theme. The house is located on Cape San Blas which is a narrow strip of land protruding out into the Gulf and separating St. Josephs Bay and the Gulf. The Gulf is visible from one end of the house and St Josephs Bay from the other end. Our house is 200 yards from the boardwalks leading over the sand dunes to the beach, and just a short walk through the neighborhood, with no streets to cross. This makes it a very safe place for children to have access to the beach. They will love watching for the dolphins, hunting shells and building sand castles. Port St. Joe offers a fully stocked grocery store, restaurants, drug stores, and almost everything else one could need. Appalachiacola is 23 miles away and is a very historic town. The Kitchen is completely equipped, with dishes and silverware. There is ample cookware, etc. We have a free-standing icemaker, washer/dryer, crock pot, toaster oven, etc. There are remote control fans in the living room, dining, kitchen andall bedrooms. TVs are in the master and queen bedrooms and in the living room. Phone (local and long distance in continental US) and Wireless Internet are provided. There is concrete parking for four cars under the house, and there is a dog run to allow your dog to dry off from the beach.
activities and attractions in Cape San Blas Gulf Coast North
Fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, crabbing, kite flying, horseback riding on the beach (with the horses properly protected), and water skiing. The beach is pet-friendly with owner expected to do the clean-up. The beach is great for walking and enjoying the scenery. For the golfer there is St Josephs Bay Golf and Country Club which is 5 miles away.
