3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus a fold out sofa bed (full size) in the downstairs den (with privacy
screen) for larger groups.
House features central air conditioning, WiFi internet access (just bring your lap top if you need
to get on the internet!), US phoneline (unlimited free calls to/from), dvd/stereo/tv, private
backyard with BBQ area, full kitchen.

Great downstairs common area, ideal for hanging out and relaxing after a day on the beach, includes
living room (with office area), dining room, kitchen, and den, plus private backyard with BBQ.
Location cannot be beat -- directly across from lovely Praia Mole beach (at front of secure access
complex, as close to beach as you can get, not at rear which is close to a 5 minute walk!!). Praia
Mole is a world-class beach, stunningly beautiful visuals, great atmosphere (numerous beach bars
with great music, food, vibrant crowd), and frequented by a fun, athletic, local crowd. One of the
best surfing beaches in all of Brazil, though with protected coves at either end which are ideal for
small children to swim as well.
Just steps from the north end of Praia Mole beach there is a short trail (less than 1 minute) to the
stunning nature preserve Galheta beach. Ideal complement to Praia Mole's fun and vibrant atmosphere
for those who appreciate the beauty of raw nature, with no construction whatsoever. Ideal place for
morning jogs or reflective walks. Also a great surfing beach. Popular with the gay community during
Carnaval period (4 days, generally falls in late February).
At the rear of the secure access complex there is a private nature trail that leads through thick
Atlantic rainforest to the beautiful Lagoa da Conceicao lagoon, a large salt water lagoon ideal for
boat trips, kayaking, snorkeling and relaxing in peaceful surroundings in the afternoon sun.
From the townhome complex, you are just minutes away by car from the best dining, nightlife and
boutique shopping on the island in the nearby Lagoa towncenter. Unlike many of the tourist-only
neighborhoods around the island (particularly in the north!), this area is wonderful to visit year
round, full of fun cafes and boutiques, with amazing nightlife all year long.
This is without a doubt THE ideal spot on the island to stay, surrounded by the best natural beauty,
easy walk to 2 world-class beaches, the best variety of restaurants and nightlife, and a great
centrally located launching point for other day excursions around the island.

Vacation Rental Rates
Low season (May 1 - end of October) rates from $249 dollars per night (discounts available for single
travelers and couples).
Rates vary depending on time of year (high season Nov 1 - May 1) and number of persons travelling in
your group. Holiday rates applicable for the weeks of New Years and Carnaval.

Price includes fully equipped house (including all linens and towels), maid service, your very own
local cell phone, and access to a private concierge for information on tours and island highlights,
as well as reservations for the best restaurants, nightlife, etc. on the island (this is of KEY
importantance as while Florianopolis is an INCREDIBLE place, it is not easily navigable for those
who aren't familiar with the island, speak fluent Portuguese, or aren't willing to spend several
weeks figuring things out on their own the hard way!!), as well as all taxes and fees.
