Greg,
Thank you so much for making this home available to us on such a late notice. We were coming into Florida and rented it on the fly... It was all that we thought it would be and more. Your friend on the bike was very nice and helpful. NOT to mention funny as heck. The home was clean and very welcoming. The only thing WE would change is to screen in the balcony and a heated pool. Although the pool at the clubhouse is heated it is nice to be in your own pool. But that did not deter my kids from going into the house pool and having fun.

The fishing was great and we even saw a couple of Dolphins in the canal. The birds are amazing to watch. The neighbors were nice as well.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway

Nature all around. Sunsets in Living room.

Superb Home&Location;Super Clean & Comfortable

We stayed at this property for the month of March 2012. This was our first experience renting; and NOTHING could have surpassed the wonderful time we had at this home. (and it is a home - not just a vacation house!)..The location is a quiet resididential street with large homes; all backing on to a canal where the flying fish are abundant; the Egrets sit on the deck; and the pelicans perch on the boat docks. The home is immaculate and comfortable; the master suite; with huge shower; whirlpool tub; double sinks and oversized walk-in closet is spotlessly clean joy. The other two bedrooms with front balcony are good sized. Main bathroom spotless; master bedroom is large with doors to upper balcony (every evening supper on the upper deck). Private beach for area is superb (very long walk; but very short drive the sunsets are a nightly ritual..not to be missed. Private clubhouse (with own BBQ area; very large heated pool and hot tub for 8; and lighted tennis courts is a 10minute walk from home. Excellent facilities overlooking a beautiful treed landing dock and direct access to gulf Basement/garage holds 9 cars; has pool table; air hockey;4bikes;fishing rods;set golf clubs;and sliding glass doors to lower patio and private pool and dock. Exc. kitchen appliances and laundry room; large open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area. New large Publix Supermarket is 4min. walk away. Easy drive & access to neighbouring Dunedin;Tarpon Springs and Clearwater Beach (this is the place to see schools of dolphins)..We found clearwater beach very very crowded; and prefered the laid back ambience of our resident private beach; and the private resident clubhouse. We bbq'd on the house gas bbq; ate on the upper balcony and watched the sunset in the peaceful silence of our 'Florida Home'....this was the truly relaxing vacation we envisioned and this home would be the one we would certainly return to and which we have recommended to our friends and acquaintences. The owner is super and the one question we had, he answered within the hour. There is a 24/7 manager available if needed. Would I recommend this particular home and old Florida town....YES without hesitation. Would I recommend this home...YES in a heartbeat. To the owner....thank you staying in your home was a joy (we drove down from Northern Canada; and 2 adult family flew over from England..and they adored it and have recommended it to their friends in England).

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing, romantic getaway
