Secluded three acre retreat with ocean views! 

*Hale Pukana La, "House of Sunshine" is aptly named for it's 
orientation towards the sunrise, but could just as easily been 
called "House of Peace" or perhaps "House of Renewal". A gated, 
fully fenced three acres, with ocean view, this well-crafted home
speaks of joy and delight in it's making. It is an ideal retreat for
one or two couples, or for a small family. Set off a secluded road
above Larsen's Beach near Kilauea town, this could become your safe
harbor to return to year after year. See additional photos below!

*Mexican tile and ceiling fans throughout the home augment the 
fragrant cooling tropical breezes that flow through the open floor 
plan. The upstairs master suite features a beautifully furnished 
canopy King bedroom with en suite office, plus additional semi-
private single Twin bedroom accessed through the master bedroom. The 
master bath features a beautifully tiled double-headed glass shower 
with ocean view- open air, yet private. An additional Queen bedroom 
is located downstairs with tub/shower bath. 

*Chefs will delight in preparing delicious meals of fresh local 
ingredients either in the full kitchen (including Jenn-Aire four 
element glass cook top and convection oven) with indoor dining for 6 
or by grilling outside on the gas BBQ. A large covered lanai 
provides additional outdoor dining for six. 

*Comfortable and bright living room features a delightful and eclectic
collection of furnishings from various movie sets and is the perfect
place to view a special event or evening movie on the 48" high
definition projection TV with surround sound movie/stereo system,
DVD/VCR and 5-disc CD player. A King sleeper sofa provides additional
bedding if needed.

*Expansive lush lawns, dotted with tropical fruit trees, provide a
sweet and spacious setting in which to stroll, play with family or
plan a picnic. Just a short walk, then hike down, is sandy and
beautiful Larsen's beach, a lesser-known reef area.  It is a favorite
beach for Monk seals coming to shore seeking rest after feeding,
shearwaters and other shorebirds.

*When not taking in the peace of Pukana La, drive only a short 
distance to all the conveniences and services of Kilauea, 
Princeville and Hanalei Towns: shopping, restaurants, world-class 
Princeville and Makai golf courses; outdoor adventures such as 
horseback, helicopter and zipline tours; plus health, beauty and spa 
services. 

*Explore the myriad beaches of the north shore including 
nearby Anini and Kalihiwai, Secret Beach and Hanalei Bay, Tunnel's 
beach and Lumahai- all within easy reach. Visit enchanting Limahuli 
Gardens, Wet and Dry Caves, or perhaps strike out on the Kalalau 
trail into the amazing Napali coast . Make a day of exploring and 
adventure, then return home for dinner and a splendid nighttime show 
of clear constellations from your relaxing outdoor hot tub. A

Activities and Attractions

Kauai is a great place for hiking, swimming (varies by season and 
location), nature study, kayaking, snorkelling (always check for the 
best seasonal spots), horseback riding, zipline, helicopter and van 
tours, cycling, surfing in season, boogy boarding, paddling, boat 
and kayak tours, scuba diving, golfing, tennis, shopping, spa and 
health services.  It is also a wonderful place to curl up on your 
lanai or on a beach with a book and do absolutely nothing at all.... 

Vacation Rental Rates

Hale Pukana La rents for $2000-$2500 per week.  Daily rate, five 
night minimum, $350-$450 per night.  All rentals have 11.42% taxes 
on top of the rental amount.  There is a $286.46 outcleaning fee 
from a separately held $1250 security deposit.  Longer stays may 
require higher deposits and mid-stay cleaning(s) at additional 
charge. There is a $25 charge for processing.  Personal or cashier's 
check, money order or bankwire accepted.
