Lake Front Cottage in Houghton Lake

Private, Cozy Lakefront cottage on Houghton Lakes North Shore.
This 1400 square foot knotty pine
cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, full kitchen, and
laundry room. Master
bedroom has a king bed with an air conditioner; second bedroom has a queen bed; and third
bedroom has a set of
childrens twin bunk beds and a play area. The front part of the
cottage, on the lakeside, is an
original log cottage with an Up North look. The deck on the back of
the cottage is just 30 feet
from the edge of the lake. The water is a consistent 3 feet deep for
about the first 100 yards, and
then it gradually gets deeper. This sandy bottom shallow lake is
perfect swimming for children.

This cottage used to be a home and is completely furnished. The
kitchen has everything you need including A
Kitchen Table, Stove, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Blender, All
Utensils, and All Dishes. There
are 2 futons, 2 TVs, VCR, DVD Player, DVD collection, and a small
stereo. Full sized washer and
dryer. Out by the lake, there is a fieldstone fire pit , a picnic
table, a patio set with 4 chairs, a gas BBQ grille, and a sandbox
with toys. The cottage also has a
horse shoe pit,and 10 foot basketball rim out by the garage. Also,
feel free to use the 12 foot
canoe or the 12 foot fishing boat. ENJOY!!!

Swimming,fishing,canoeing,relaxing by the water,camp fires &
smores,golfing, 4 wheeling,snowmobiling, boating,
tubing,and skiing. Several places to rent boats and sea doo's.
Houghton Lake has 2 small amusement
parks with put put golf,go karts, batting cages,and more. Plenty of
fun family activities!

$900.00 for the week, and a $60 cleaning fee. Holiday weeks are $1200. The week generally starts on Sat. Check Availibility
Calander at the top of this page for availible dates. A $250.00 deposit
is required to reserve the cottage, and
the balance is due 30 days before you arrive. A refundable $150.00
Security Deposit is required.
Check-in is at 4:00 and check-out is at 11:00. Sheets and towels
will be available but must be washed and put back as they were. You
will need your own blankets. Sorry, we do not allow pets.  Absolutly NO SMOKING! No more than 8 overnight guests at the cottage.
