Kid Friendly Beach House at Harbor Island in Harbor Island

Are you looking for a kid-friendly family vacation? Then you need to plan a lowcountry get-away at
our beautiful beach house on Harbor Island, South Carolina. Our house overlooks a tidal creek and
has gorgeous marsh views on one side and the beach is less than 200 yards on the other side. We have
a fabulous floor plan that is ideal for large or multiple families. Our house has four bedrooms, two
bathrooms, a large living room, a large fully equipped kitchen, and comfortably sleeps 11 people.
The house has many kid-friendly features including a kids bedroom with bunkbeds, two bedrails,
pack 'n play crib, high chair, booster seat, infant bouncy seat, a permanent baby gate for the
stairs, an additional portable baby gate, and sand toys for the beach. There are also four adult
beach chairs kept under the house for your use.

Harbor Island is a South Carolina barrier Island that has two and a half miles of PRIVATE beach in
pristine condition. It is perfect for children because the beach is large, clean, and NEVER crowded.
We are located within a gated community that has an olympic-size swimming pool, kiddie pool,
volleyball court, basketball court, tennis courts, playground, and fitness center all within walking
distance. Harbor Island is situated between Edisto Island and Hilton Head Island. Nearby, are
Hunting Island State Park and only 15 miles away is Historic Beaufort, which offers ample shopping,
dining, horse drawn carriage tours, and numerous other activities. Other things to do in the area
are golf, a family fun park, hiking, fishing, crabbing, shrimping, kayaking and much more! Also, the
abundant wildlife at Harbor Island will not go unnoticed. It is home for a variety of wildlife
including dolphins, loggerhead turtles, alligators, ospreys, wood storks, and many other waterfowl
and bird life, so do not forget your binoculars. Enjoy yourself sipping a cold drink taking in the
views on the large back deck or enjoy a romantic evening on your personal balcony off the master
bedroom. Either way, come enjoy the relaxing experience.
