Exterior 

The influences of early Mission architecture are expressed in the
home’s distinctive contours and earth tone adobe walls, and its unique
site takes full advantage of all aspects of the changing skyscape.
Step out onto one of the terraces with a morning coffee or a glass of
cabernet at sunset and drink in the views that stretch toward the
distant Mayacamas Mountains and the western horizon, to as far south
as the twinkling lights of the San Francisco Bay. 

Follow the smooth pebble pathways to an herb garden and the orange and
lemon trees that thrive on the grounds or enjoy tranquil moments at
the swimming pool embraced by the hillside and surrounded by native
plants and oak trees.

Interior 

The suggestion of pueblo design is evoked throughout the home, with
its wide atrium and high ceilings that allow oversized windows to
frame the scenic views from every room, and fill the house with
natural light. The great room sets the mood for a gathering of good
friends and conversation, and at night the corner fireplace bathes the
room in a cheerful glow. 

The kitchen is a gourmet’s dream; a huge work island with a countertop
gas range, vegetable sink, built-in dishwasher and warming oven give
the chef, or the entire family, room to create mouth-watering meals.
There is a casual dining nook and a formal dining room that opens to
the living room. Either way, you’ll have views sure to enhance your
meals. 

The master suite and a second bedroom are on the main level of the
home. Plush Berber carpeting and soft cocoa-colored walls create
harmonious environments in which to relax and unwind. The master has a
concealed flat-screen TV and sliding glass doors to the pool and
patio. In the bath, there is a two-person glass shower and a large,
jetted tub with a spectacular view toward the western mountains. 

One floor down, off the foyer, is a third bedroom with a bar area and
a small refrigerator. The chocolate-tiled bathroom has a step-in
shower and pedestal sink. Watch the Travel Channel on the flat-screen
TV from your down-filled bed or just appreciate the view overlooking
the Silverado Country Club below.
