Vacation Rental Description
The Gunnison River Park homes have a dramatic rural setting in a 7
acre private park on the banks of the Gunnison River. Surrounded by
the Grand Mesa, the West Elk Mountains and the Uncompahgre Plateau,
we are centrally located in the heart of Delta County wine country.
Our homes are within 15 minutes of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison
National Park and Grand Mesa. We are in easy driving distance to
Delta (5 minutes) and the quaint towns of Paonia, Cedaredge,
Hotchkiss, Crawford and Olathe with their many Antique shops, Art
Galleries, Live Music venues and Cultural Events.
Vacation Rental Amenities
The Gunnison River Park homes are furnished including bed & bath
linens, laundry facilities, kitchen ware, dishwasher, microwave,
coffee maker, TV, vcr, dvd, cd/stereo, wireless Internet, BBQ grill,
campfire pit, outdoor furniture and more. Contact us if you need
something special.
Our park and 3200 SqFt Events Hall is available for weddings and
other family or professional events.
Activities and Attractions
In addition to fishing off the front step there are Winery tours,
many antique shops, art galleries and artisans, music venues, 2 golf
courses nearby and agricultural tours including Buffalo and Elk
ranches. There are many native ruins in the Escalante Dominguez
Canyon area.
The Gunnison River is famous for Fly-fishing, Drift fishing, tubing,
rafting & kayaking. We have a small stream through the Park for
children. We also have Horseshoe pits, Croquet, Badminton and Bocce.
Other great activities close in the area include birding, wildlife
viewing, bicycling, hiking, 4 wheel drive trails, off-road ATV and
motorcycle parks, hunting, horseback riding and more.
Grand Mesa is famous for its winter sports including cross-country
and downhill skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and sledding and
tubing.
Vacation Rental Rates
Gunnison River Park has the Gallery Home and the River Home and are
$200 to $300 Per night. 2 Nights Minimum. More than 6 guests are $10
per guest per night. Dogs are $10 per night per dog. 2 maximum
We have limited Rv and camping sites available with home rental. RVs
are $20 per RV per night 4 guests Maximum , Camping $10. per night
per site.
The Gallery home overlooks our private river park with views of the
river & mountains. It is a 3 bdrm with a loft, 2 1/2 baths and
sleeps 6+.
The River Home has breath taking views of the Gunnison River and
Grand Mesa and overlooks our private river park. It sleeps 6+ in 3
bdrms with 2 baths. This home is not recommended for families with
small children due to its close proximity to the river.
We do have Weekly, monthly and Seasonal rates.
Our 3200 SqFt Event Hall and the park are available for special
event use. Contact us for availability and rates.
No smoking in our Homes & Hall. Smoking is allowed on the grounds.
We do charge 50 cents for each Butt we have to pick up.
