Cape Coral is surrounded by water and is a natural habitat for  
fishing, boating, and golf enthusiasts. It’s a water wonderland with  
an extensive system of waterways for boating and sightseeing. In  
fact, there are over 400 miles of salt and freshwater canals in Cape  
Coral - more than in Venice, Italy! And, that’s in addition to the  
many lakes, basins, and stunning intercoastal waterfront areas. Some  
of the area's best golf is available in Cape Coral. There is a  
course to challenge every level of golfer, from top-rated  
championship courses to the more relaxed "executive" courses. There  
are also many fine tennis  
facilities throughout the city. Known as the ideal location for  
family fun, Cape Coral offers a 12-acre water park, the Sun Splash  
Water Park. This park boasts three giant waterslides, Main Stream  
Lazy River, Luna-Sea Activity Pool with lily pads, logrolls, and  
cable  
drops, Tot Spot Kiddie Area, sand volleyball, sun deck, and more.  
 
Cape Coral also has a family sports amusement center, a children's  
science center that truly make learning fun, and the Greenwell’s  
Family Park. Greenwell’s features batting cages, go-cart track,  
miniature golf, arcade, and snack bar. Four Mile Cove Ecological  
Park, “Eco" Park, has 365 aces of unspoiled wetland and mangrove  
swamps on the Caloosahatchee River. The park features a 4200 foot
