vacation rental description
Very desirable location in Birch Bay's central part of the Bay, Lora's Cottage will delight a couple or a small family. It will sleep up to 6. Lora's Cottage has two bedrooms one with Queen size memory foam mattress, second with full size bed. In a pinch, there's a queen sofabed in the living room. Or there's a separate 1 bedroom bunkhouse. All you need pack are your clothes and food.
Birch Bay's summertime socializing is done at the "C" Shop, a short walk down the street from us. Candy, ice cream, pizza, sandwiches, homemade breads can all be had along with a dose of Birch Bay's laid back beach charm. Or walk north along the Bay and you'll find CJ's fine seafood restaurant, Shores and Tradewinds. The area is a foodie haven with fresh fish, artisan cheeses, farmer's markets and get it yourself crabbing and clamming (in season, license required) Recreation opportunities abound, check out Bellingham Herald and Adventure NW Magazine, specially devoted to outdoor activities and events in Whatcom County. And for recreation right in Birch Bay, you're in for a special treat with our private beach accessed via a gated wooden footbridge.
We invite you to one of Washington's great getaway and vacation
areas minutes from Bellingham, 45 minutes from Vancouver B.C., and an easy two hours from
Seattle.
Our guests now receive free cinnamon rolls year round with their stay except for holidays. Just let us know if you'd like fresh baked cinnamon rolls delivered and we'll be glad to order them for you.
