Flagler Beach is truly a beautiful town, and one of the last quaint  beachside towns in Florida. You won't find fast food restaurants, neon lights, or traffic jams in Flagler Beach! Instead, you'll find open-air seaside cafes, fine restaurants, small shops, and a fantastic farmer's market next to the fishing pier every Friday and Saturday morning.

Flagler Beach is surrounded by state parks and protected wetlands,  so it attracts a variety of wildlife and birds. You can easily watch  dolphins from your balcony, or view pelicans and seagulls gliding  past your window.

No matter how you prefer to spend your time on vacation, Flagler  Beach offers it all. If you like to sunbathe or nap on the beach,  you will love the quiet tranquility of this paradise. (On a busy  Saturday, you might count 10 other people all day!) Feeling thirsty?  Unlike many other places in Florida, it is legal to drink on the  beach here, so you can sip your favorite cocktail while listening to
the splashing of the waves!

If you like boating, the Flagler Beach public boat launch is  less than 3 miles from the condo. You can cruise down the Inter  Coastal Waterway, or just watch boats from the boardwalk.

In addition to the beauty available right outside your door, nature lovers will enjoy walking in one of the three Florida State Parks.  If you are interested in biking, there are 25 miles of oceanfront  bike paths right out your door. And, a short 15 miles drive north along the beach will bring you to Marineland, the world's first Oceanarium. "Sea Hunt" was filmed here!!

Feeling more ambitious? Flagler Beach is conveniently located just 40 minutes south of St. Augustine...America's oldest city! St.  Augustine is full of history, beautiful architecture, charm, and great shopping.

Maybe you're in the mood for a drive on the beach?  Daytona Beach is just 20 minutes to the south. Flagler Beach provides a great gateway to many other interesting areas as well.

How about a day of fun and adventure in Orlando? You can easily spend the day at Disney World, Sea World, Epcot, or one of the other major attractions, and then return for a walk on the beach or a swim in the pool!

If you would like to marvel at the JFK Space Center in Cape Canaveral, it is only about 75 minutes south of Flagler Beach.
