on a bluff overlooking the ocean and large lawn below. With a 1/3 of a 
mile of shoreline,tidal  
pools, miles of paths and trails, an apple orchard, there is plenty to 
explore. You can play on the  
clay tennis court, swim from rocky shore below or walk to public 
beaches. Locate just 2 miles  
outside of downtown Manchester-by-the-Sea. It is easily accessible by 
water, train or highway. Great  
for family reunions with its 10 bedrooms, 6 baths, large living room, 
dining room, study, play room  
and much history to explore within the walls, books and drawers of 
this great old family home.

Activities and Attractions

Besides just relaxing, fishing, swimming, playing tennis, a game of volleyball or croquet on the  
lower lawn, going to the beach, exploring the tidal pools, hiking through the woods here on the 
estate, Cape Ann has many things to do - Whale Watching, Kayaking, 
Museums and Antiquing to name just a few.

Prime-season: June 5 - September 5,2008         Rate: $6,000  
Rental period: Arrival Friday 3pm - Departure Friday 10:30am 
 
Off-season:   September 5 - October 31,2008     Rate: $4,000 
              May 1 - 29, 2009 
Rental period: Can be more flexible. 
 
Winter-season: November 1 - April 30, 2009 
The house is closed for the Winter season. 
 
Available for Weddings at an addition rate based on number of guests.
