Cozy Michigan Cottage: Available For Weekly Rental: Perfect for
Summer and Fall Color Tour. Located in the wooded Chandler Hills,
the log & stone cottage is located on Michigan's Thumb Lake (also
known as Lake Louise), just seven-miles east of Boyne Mountain Resort
and 22 minutes from Petoskey. A three-hour drive from Detroit &
Oakland County. All-sports Thumb Lake is the second cleanest lake
in Michigan (Tip-of-the-Mit Watershed Council survey) and the third
deepest inland lake (154 feet). Located on a bluff overlooking the
lake the cottage is surrounded by forest, hills & hiking trails.
Elk, deer, fox and eagles are abundant. Spring-fed, the lake is
full of trout and small mouth bass. Traverse Magazine called Thumb
Lake one of the top swim spots in Michigan. This offers the perfect
Up-North summer vacation.

Sleeps six (6) comfortably: 1-King bed, 1-bunk bed and two pull-
out sofas. One bath. Full equipped Kitchen, eating area. Stone
fireplace. Three summer camps are located on the lake for your
kids. No neighbors to the south, 200-feet away to the north.

Optional pontoon boat rental (22-ft., 50-horse power engine). A beach campfire pit is stocked with seasoned wood.  The hammock, wood plank dock, swimming raft, picnic table, basketball net, badminton net and gas grill are included. DISH w/ Sony TV. 

With 150-feet of sandy beach frontage you will feel secluded. Sunsets are spectacular from the boathouse deck-top as the cottage faces west.

Nearby attractions: Many 1st class restaurants, shopping and golf
courses: Tree Tops and Boyne Mountain Golf Resorts are minutes
away. Other lakes such as Walloon, Lake Charlevoix (15 minutes) and
Lake Michigan (30 minutes) are close by. Mackinac Island is a one-
hour drive. Golfing, boating, swimming, biking, miles of hiking
trails around the lake. Boyne Mountain's Avalanche Bay water park
is 10 minutes away. Petoskey is close for Odawa Casino & Hotel,
shopping and sightseeing.
