Vacation Rental Description

Come and enjoy life as it is meant to be. Beautiful Calabash in 
Southern, North Carolina is perfectly situated to give you the 
relaxing vacation you've been craving, with activities for everyone.

For Dads: There are over 100 golf courses within a 30 minute drive 
from this condominium. Of course there is nothing better than rolling 
out of bed and already being on the golf course. And since this 
condominium is located within a golf community, well, do I need to 
say more? North Carolina is world renowned for it's golf courses from 
beginner courses all the way up to challenging courses designed by 
the golf pros themselves!

If you want to break up your golf outings, I would suggest taking a 
sport fishing charter out from Sunset Beach for a day of great 
fishing! Or the Casino boat for a fun night of gambling. Only your 
imagination will limit what you do here.

For Moms: If golf is your thing, see Dads section, above. If not, 
Sunset Beach is the type of beach you see on post cards. It is 
uncrowded and a locals beach. Very few tourists know about how 
beautiful and secluded it is (most go to Myrtle beach, a short drive 
away).

Take a stroll, collect shells, take pictures, enjoy swimming. Did I 
mention that Myrtle Beach is close by? You will find some of the best 
shopping from clothing to furniture. All the designer brands can be 
found at the Tanger Outlet shops. And after a long day of shopping, 
(hey, you are on vacation, right?), may I recommend a seafood 
restaurant? Calabash is known as the crab capital of the world, so 
go, enjoy, over-indulge in the seafood fare and call me to thank me 
later!

For Kids: Ok, I saved the best for last. Depending on your age group, 
the Calabash area has the before mentioned golf, beach, shopping and 
eating amenities, but did you know that Myrtle Beach is only a few 
short miles away?! (I may have mentioned that).

There is every water sport you can think of located there from 
snorkling to jet skis. There is really fun miniature golf (don't 
laugh, it's addicting), The Strand for walking, eating, and shopping. 
The Hard Rock restaurant (The brand new Hard Rock theme park is due 
to start building soon!), Arcades, Imax Theaters, Clubs (big spring 
break area), House of Blues, Broadway on the Beach, an Aquarium, 
Nascar Cafe and go cart racing, and Dinner Theaters (The Alabama and 
Dolly Parton among others).

There are far too many things for me to list here for you to do (plus 
I want you to find a few on your own, then tell me about them), so go 
and have fun. Return home thinking, "I need a vacation from my 
vacation!" And we will see you again next year!

Our condominium is a family owned second home that we are opening up 
for guests to enjoy. We are not a rental agent or big impersonal 
property management company. We want you to have a great time on your 
vacation so let us know what your needs are and if we can accommodate 
them, we will. NOTE: We just purchased a brand new, 2BR/2BA condo 
(May 2007) so if you need more room, let us know.

The condominium is beautiful, newer construction. We take pride in 
our home and want you to enjoy. The best of everything has been put 
into our home, so please sign our on-line guest book and e-mail with 
any feedback. We just repainted and redecorated this condo in Oct (2007). 

A special note: Our family has been very blessed with wonderful 
guests in our condo. We have occasionally come across times where we 
have had more than one family interested in renting from us at the 
same time. In an attempt to help our guests and to network with other 
property owners, we have called and spoken to them. 

On occasion, we have found that what is advertised and what they 
actually have, are two different things. We have found low prices 
that are then "nickle and dimed up", pictures of the interiors of the 
units are actually of model homes, and that sometimes, the properties 
just are not as good as advertised. This is your vacation, please 
take the time to quiz your prospective property owners or management 
company. Spend your money wisely and don't get fooled by cheap rates 
and fancy pictures. Our goal is to have you enjoy Calabash and the 
surrounding areas so much so, that you'll become a repeat guest. All 
of the reputible owners do. So do your homework and enjoy your 
vacation. And if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to
