Casa de Celeste Vida is a guest house with three vacation rental properties available and each is located only steps from the pristine beach. The property is 1km. from the fishing village of Celestun in the Yucatan of Mexico. Each of the vacation rental suites are located on the beach level, are pet friendly and wheelchair accessible!
Available for rent is our ocean view apartment; La Maravilla a 1 bedroom apartment that sleeps four. This suite has a separate bedroom for 2 and a sofa bed in the living
area for 2 more. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove and microwave as well as many small appliances to make cooking preparation fast and easy. La Maravilla has a private entrance and a large covered veranda, bathroom with hot and cold shower and is just steps from the beach. You can walk for miles and collect shells for hours or enjoy a 15 minute walk along the beach to enjoy the village of Celestun. Your hosts reside within the property to give personalized service to their guests and help to make everyones' vacation memorable.

Celestun is a bustling fishing village where there is lots to enjoy and take in. It is full of friendly faces, markets and wonderful restaurants serving the fresh catch of the day. Celestun is a village of history and has been here for about 300 years.
The Celestun Biosphere is a place to be explored. Many different tours can be arranged by your hosts. A flamingo tour by boat, a walk through the salt flats or a birdwatching tour are just a few of the sights to be enjoyed. Visit Jaltun and learn about crocodiles and for the brave, hold one on in your hands. Dzinitun Mangrove Tour is a wonderful and peaceful tour where nature is at its best! Cenote and cave tours for the adventurous are amazing and your hosts are willing to do guided tours to these hidden spots! Ruins in the Yucatan are abundant and easily accessed for those wanting to go back in time and experience the past. Not too far away are haciendas, towns that make shoes, pottery and the famous Panama hats. The beautiful colonial city of Merida is only an hour away and one can enjoy a day here full of culture and shopping.
The beach is a majestic spot where you can lay back and fall asleep to the lapping waves or walk for miles and collect a variety of beautiful shells. It is an idea spot to try you hand at windsurfing and kayaking. It is very quiet and many will spend days relaxing here and see only a few people during their entire stay.
