traveler reviews for this tillamook house rental

Perfect for what we were looking for.

Review submitted: July 29, 2013   Date of arrival: July 22, 2013

We had our family reunion here and it was just right for us. There was enough space that all potential stressing factors weren't there. We found a wonderful supply of table and chairs in the huge upstairs family room and the large dining rooms downstairs. The place was up kept but not one where you would worry about children touching every little thing. It had a very comforting feel to it. The rooms we great. Three kings and one queen. Some in our party mentioned the beds to be hard. I didn't have any problems with mine, and quite frankly . . . . any mattress is better than sleeping on a thin pad as would happen with camping. We also noticed that there is one full bathroom, one 3/4 bathroom, and one half bathroom. As such we found no complications in toiletry use and were able to schedule showers for many people well. There seemed to be no end to the hot water. There was a laundry room, which was very nice to have as well, and the kitchen was fairly stocking with cooking gadgets and the two ranges/ ovens were perfect. I also want to note that fridge and freezer space was no issue as well.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing

Family reunion

Review submitted: August 31, 2010   Date of arrival: August 22, 2010

We had a great time there. Many new memories made.We visited the cheese factory, and the beach. It was large enough for our group, and not so fancy that we had to worry about the children in our group doing any damage. The only Problem was whoever cleaned it did not do a very good job.We still hd a good time. Thanks--Kathy
