Ken's Conch Key Cottage in Marathon

We are located on a small tropical island, a quaint lobster fishing
village about 10 miles from Marathon. Close to various state parks
and beaches. A quiet island where life slows to an easy and relaxing
pace.
Tastefully furnished, the house is a cozy 2bedroom/2bath romantic
getaway. The second bedroom/bath has its own outside entrance,
seperate central air and heat, offering individual privacy for 2
couples traveling together. The second bedroom/bath can be closed
off for individual couples. The back yard opens to a large Tiki hut
on the water, and a large dock for guests who bring or rent a boat.
There is immediate bay and ocean access for flats or deep sea fishing
and diving. This is a non-smoking rental. No pets, no smoking, no
children please.

Beautiful scenic sunsets. Huge thatch roof Tiki hut with swinging
hammocks for easy relaxation and lighted ceiling fan,table and
furniture for outside dining and drinks on the water, bicycles, row
boat, canoe and barbeque. Life vests and assorted snorkeling gear is
available for use. Linens, towels, basic supplies (soap, toilette
paper etc.), cooking utensils, and washer/dryer are provided.

Beaches and state parks are close by. Hawks Cay resort is just around
the corner offering a wide variety of water activities such as jet
ski rental, para-sailing, powerboats, and fish and dive charters.
There are also fishing guides with private boats that are your
neighbors. Fishing and diving are excellent and we are well situated
for both bay activities and immediate ocean access by boat. We have
on many occasions caught our lobster dinners by snorkeling
immediately around the island. The immediate neighbors are commercial
lobster/fisherman and the ambience of watching them bring in thier
daily fresh catch of fish, lobster, stone crabs, and tropical fish
for aquariums is very interesting.
