Vacation Rental Description

Casa Tres Peces is set in the heart of Cabo Matapalo right on the point in one of the most magical
destinations in Costa Rica, the Osa Peninsula. National Geographic calls it one of the most bio-
diverse lowland rainforests left in the world.

This beautiful two story open air tropical style home sits facing East towards incredible sunrises
on an elevated rock outcropping right on the beach, giving it a spectacular view where the Gulfo
Dulce and the Pacific Ocean meet. With 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms it is the perfect getaway
for 2 couples or a small family.

Following a grassy, stone trail in front of the house it is only steps to a secluded sandy cove
beach that has incredible tide pools (at low tide) perfect for lounging in or taking the children.

A canopy tree monkey path runs right across the front of the house where you can watch four species
of monkeys jump from branch to branch.

A Swiss Family Robinson-like experience in jungle luxury you will never forget. Enjoy the feeling
of living in the rainforest with amenities. If you love nature and all of it’s wild beauty, this is
the place for you. Here you will find an incredible opportunity to connect with nature in a way
that is just not possible in many places. Life is brought back to the natural cycles of the sun,
the moon and the tide. It is an incredible feeling to live in a house that functions independently
on solar. Come and experience solar power, spring water and an amazing off the grid lifestyle.

Activities and Attractions

The wonderful thing about Matapalo is that you can choose to fill your day with exciting,
adventurous, fun activities or you may decide to just relax in a hammock, watch the birds and
monkeys and read a good book.

People come to Matapalo to enjoy the incredible beauty and tranquility of nature. We live by the
natural rhythms of the sun, moon and tides. Going to bed with the nightfall and getting up with the
sun. If what you are after is a party nightlife scene you will be disappointed. However, if what
you want is a rare experience of adventure, relaxation and unspoiled nature, you will love it.

Some of these activities should be booked in advance and others can be booked while you are there
which our on site manager can help you with. We recommend that the activities with an asterisk be
booked in advance and we can help you do that before your trip.
