Vacation Rental Description

The Private Waterfront area is 250" with a 35 foot dock. The Lake 
tends to stay warm for a Maine Lake and drops off slowly. It is about
6 to 10 feet deep at the end of the dock. Plenty of Swimming and 
Outdoor Activities. There is a Boat landing at the bridge about 1 1/2 
miles up from the camp if you have your own  boat. Otherwise, a boat 
and motor or Canoe is provided for your  enjoyment. Mainstream is not 
commercial and abounds with Wildlife, including Moose, Deer, Beaver, 
as well as a large variety of Birds. 

The fishing is excellent if you like Bass and Pickeral. We are only
minutes from the Harmony General Store which also has Laundry 
facilities. 

Mainstream is part of the Sebasticook River Chain and has rapid falls 
below Mainstream bridge and is listed as one of the premier Canoe 
areas in the State. Fishing is excellent. Our cottage is a very 
comfortable cottage with a Deck overlooking Mainstream Pond. It tends
to be very quiet. The cottage has 1 Master Bedroom downstairs with two
bedrooms upstairs with a Cathedral Walkway connecting the two 
bedrooms. The cottage can sleep six. That is firm. Rental is by the 
week and runs from Sunday to Saturday. Season runs from April 30th 
weekend thru the first week in November. You can canoe down two 
miles to Great Moose Pond. You are one hour South of Moosehead Lake
and about 2 hours from Bangor or Augusta or the Coast of Maine.

Cottage is furnished with gas range, gas refrigerator, 
microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, pots and pans, dishes, glasses 
and silverware.  Blankets and pillows are 
supplied. Linens and towels are supplied.  

The cottage has a picnic table and gas grill.

Activities and Attractions

Plenty of Fishing, Hiking up to Devils Head Overlooking Mainstream 
Pond and Great Moose Lake. Hiking around the 90 acres surrounding the
Camp as well. Canoe & Kayak Upstream 30 Miles on Sebasticook River, 
Maine or downstream Mainstream Pond to Castle Harmony, class II, 3 
miles long to Great Moose Lake and Lake Como.  
A beautiful Wilderness Experience. Plenty of Excellent Fishing & 
Wildlife including Moose, Beaver and plenty of Bird Watching.

Vacation Rental Rates

Reservations & Rates (subject to change anytime): To MAKE & HOLD a 
reservation, I need 50% of the rental, plus a $200 security deposit 
that will be returned if cottage returned the way you found it. This 
amount will be required as soon as we have made a verbal confirmation 
via phone/email. Please send within 5-7 business days to hold your 
week(s). 

The remaining balance is due 60 days prior arrival (or what we have 
discussed). Remember no dates are confirmed until deposits recieved.

CANCELATIONS: If cancelation occurs BEFORE your 60 day scheduled 
arrival --all monies will be returned!! If cancelation occurs DURING 
the 60 days prior to arrival, only if I can re-rent your week, all 
is money returned. (Per case basis)

CHECK-IN:          2-5pm (NO earlier please unless discussed) 
DEPARTURE:         SATURDAY 12 PM SHARP!

RATES: SUBJECT TO CHANGE
In season: April 31 to September 15th - 800 per week
Off Season: September 15 to November 1st - 600 per week
