Volcano Chalet in Volcano

The Volcano Chalet is located on a lush half acre less than three
miles from the entrance to the Volcano National Park. The tropical
rainforest setting and fresh air make for pure relaxation. The
house was built 12 years ago by a builder from Honolulu for his
Hawaiian wife, whom was raised in Volcano. It has creative
architectual features that make it unique and give it a warm
Hawaiian feel. It is located on a tropical half acre. We take a
lot of pride in ownership of the Volcano Chalet and enjoy it on
weekends a couple times a month. We hope you will enjoy it as much
as we do and have it be your home too.
Your home away from home.

Three bedrooms have one king and two queen beds. In the living room
the couch folds out to a comfortable queen bed and there is a day
bed. There is a huge lava rock fireplace with plenty of wood for
those cold Volcano nights. There is a gas space heater to take the
chill off in the morning. The kitchen has everything you will need
to prepare your meals except for the food. There are 4 sets of golf
clubs and 4 bikes for your use. Most cell phones do work and there
is a house phone for local calls. High speed internet is provided
as well as TV, DVD player and stereo. There is a portable gas grill
and a charcoal grill. The lock box allows for last minute
reservations.

There is biking, hiking, skateboarding, snorkeling, caving, golf,
sightseeing, wildlife viewing, resturants, diving, geothermal pools,
tennis, star gazing, sailing and just relaxing. There is a farmers
market early every Sunday morning just 1 mile from Volcano Chalet.
All the resturants are very good and there are menu's for most of
them at the house. Volcano Chalet is 30 min. from Hilo and 30 min.
from Punuluu black sand beach a famous place to see sea turtles.
The most common activity is the hike to the lave flow, but always
check with the Volcano Park Rangers to find out about changing
conditions and safty tips.

$185/night for 2 and $10/night for each additional person.
2 night minimum or a $50 cleaning fee applies.
