Beach cottages sleep 4-8. 20 min. from Sleeping Bear Dunes in Traverse City

20 ninutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes.  10 minutes from Traverse City, We have 3 cottages on 1.2 acres with 100 ft of private, sandy beach.  See below for descriptions. All three cottages can be rented for family reunions, or can be rented separately. The lake is a 600 acre spring-fed lake with clear sparkling water, surrounded by pines and hardwoods with islands and peninsulas. Great for boating, fishing and swimming. There are 2 docks (1 for boats, 1 for people), a swimming raft. The row boat,  paddle boat and kayak are shared by all guests at no charge. The cottages are available for individual families. Individual picnic tables, charcoal grills and private campfire pits with wood provided. We live on the property and are available to answer questions to help make this a relaxing and care-free vacation.  Please feel free to contact us about their availablity and rates if interested.

The Willow Cottage: 2 bedroom, 1 bath waterfront home, sleeps 4.  

 Maple Grove, our 2 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront home that sleeps 6.

The Pines Cottage: 4 bedroom, 2 bath home with beach access sleeps 8

Willow- For a group of 4 or less, this is the perfect cottage. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. Just 10 feet from the beach. Great views, central air-conditioning, natural gas fireplace, flat screen TV, new bathroom, upgraded kitchen with granite counter top.

Maple Grove- More room for a group up to 6. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Direct beach frontage, great views. Room air-conditioning in all rooms. Wood burning fireplace.

Pines- Very roomy for a group up to 8. 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. A 90 second walk to the beach. Central air-conditioning, 2 gas fireplaces, washer and dryer. Nice big yard.

Cooking utensils, table service and linens (not towels) are provided in each cottage. Each cottage has its own campfire pit with wood provided. Freee Wi Fi and cable TV.

Silver Lake is great for swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, and
tubing.  Minutes away is Traverse City's new minor league baseball team, the Traverse City Beach Bums, Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park is only a 25
minute drive through the heart of beautiful farmlands with family
farms, roadside stands selling fresh fruits and vegetables. World
famous performers at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Traverse
City's great golf courses, hiking and biking trails, tennis,
shopping, and put-put golf.

A deposit of 50% of the rental fee is due within 7 days of the taken reservation.  We accept: Personal checks or Money Orders.  We can accept PayPal plus a 3% convenience fee.  The balance of the rental fee plus a 6% MI Use tax is due 30 days prior to arrival.  Also due at that time is a refundable Damage and Excessive Cleaning Deposit in the amount of $200.00. Property must be left as found. A total refund will be given if no damage, missing items or excessive cleaning needs to be done.  Cancellation/Refund policy: refunds for reservations will be given if you give notice 90 days prior to your intended reservation.  If cancellation is after 90 days, we will apply above only if we are able to rent cottage to another family as well as a 10% processing fee. 

Please note during the summer we only rent by the full week (Saturday to Saturday).  Weekends are only offered during our off season if available
