100 ft of sandy beach 10 minutes from Traverse City in Traverse City

Two clean, updated, air-conditioned homes on 100 ft of private Silver Lake frontage.  Each cottage has its own campfire area (with complimentary firewood) and beach.  Located less than 10 minutes from Traverse City. Both cottages have full kitchens, hard wood and ceramic tile thru-out, WIFI internet access and cable TV.

The Willow Cottage: 2 bedroom, 1 bath waterfront home, sleeps 6.  

Maple Grove: 2 bedroom, 2 bath home, sleeps  8.

Silver Lake is a premier all sports lakes in the Traverse City area.  It is a 600 acre spring fed, glacier-carved lake known for its swimming, boating, skiing, tubing and fishing. Enjoy the docks, hammocks, swimming raft, and your private campfire area.  Feel free to bring your own watercraft or ask us about a pontoon boat rental.  We live next door and are available to answer questions to help make this a relaxing and care-free vacation.

-The Willow is our two bedroom, one bath home. It sleeps up to 6. It
has one queen, one full size bed and two futons. It has a deck on
the lakeside of the cottage.

Maple Grove is our two bedroom, two bath home. It sleeps up to 8.
It has two full and one set of stacked bunk beds and a sofa sleeper.
It has a fireplace and a covered porch on the lakeside of the
cottage. 
Cooking utensils, table service and linens are provided in each cottage.

Silver Lake is great for swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, and
tubing. Feel free to bring your own watercraft. Minutes away is
Traverse City's new minor league baseball team, the Traverse City
Beach Bums, Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park is only a 25
minute drive through the heart of beautiful farmlands with family
farms, roadside stands selling fresh fruits and vegetables. World
famous performers at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Traverse
City's great golf courses, hiking and biking trails, tennis,
shopping, and put-put golf.

May 24 through Sept. 11 the cottages are rented by the week only.                The Willow has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, sleeps up to 6.
