The Admiral's Place at Moody Point is another outstanding year-round
home by the owner of the VillaNova at Moody Point (VacationRentals
Listing #8546)! This upscale property was recently custom
redesigned by the architect and builder of the VillaNova and will
comfortably sleep 13 people. The few pictures taken from the home
of the Ocean and the Wildlife Refuge are indicative of just some of
the many magnificent views.
The Admiral's Place is a large four-story single family home, 100
yards from the ocean, nestled on a private lane on the edge of the
Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Relax, unwind and relish
the fabulous display of the sunrise over Moody Beach or the sunset
over the panoramic salt marshes.
Lounge under the electronic awnings on any of the three decks (24' x
12' back deck, wrap-around deck off living area, private deck outside
the Master Suite) or on the eat-in, screened porch off the living
room while listening to the sounds of the ocean, breathing the salt
air, watching the crashing waves less than 100 yards from the home
or observing the egret, fox, bald eagles, hawks, coyote and deer
frolicking in the Wildlife Refuge. Binoculars are available in most
rooms to view the sights.
This professionally decorated home (with central vac throughout) has
five large wall-to-wall carpeted bedrooms (each outfitted with plush
Sealy Posturepedic mattresses) and four full baths. All bedrooms
have ceiling fans and clock radios. The air-conditioned private
Master Suite with king bed, luxurious bath with radiant floor
heating, rain shower and steam shower for two occupies the top
floor, has a built-in coffee maker, oversize walk-in closet, wall
safe, its own deck with electronic awning and 180-degree views of
Moody Beach and the marshes.
Two spacious bedrooms and a bath are on the third level, one with a
queen bed and the other with two twin beds. The washer and dryer are
also on the third level.
On the balcony overlooking the beautifully appointed second level
living rooms, is an open sitting area with an exquisite, soothing
wall fountain and lounge chairs, perfect for reading and private
time. A Player Piano with an assortment of musical disks is
available for the musician and lovers of music. With the cathedral
ceilings, the acoustics are unique for sounds of the wall fountain
and for piano music that can be heard throughout the home.
The air-conditioned second level has a large bedroom with a queen
bed, bath and access to the expansive deck with electronic awning,
as does the state-of-the-art kitchen, fully equipped with china,
silverware, serving bowls and platters, lobster pot, cookware,
bakeware and spices--everything needed for the gourmet cook(s).
Gleaming hardwood floors and oriental rugs cover the spacious dining
area and the spectacular living rooms with a 28-foot cathedral
ceiling, three-sided gas fireplace, wireless weather station, large
screen HDTV, sliders to the screened-in porch and private side deck
and floor-to-ceiling windows from which to view the dazzling
landscape. The home is equipped with wireless Internet and
electronic equipment for an Ipod dock station, CDs, DVDs and XM
Satellite Radio which can all be heard throughout the home and on
the decks, with individual controls in most rooms.
The Crew's Quarters, with two sets of first-class bunkbeds, one full
size bed and a bath are located on the first level off of the family
room which is equipped with PlayStation 3, large screen HDTV and a
gas fireplace. The Day Room on the first level has been designed
for the sports-minded with commercial grade Foosball and Air Hockey
tables.
The Admiral's Place is a short stroll to the Moody Beach Access and
a quick bike ride to Wells Beach (four bicycles are provided).

The Admiral's Place has on hand detailed directories containing
maps, listings of local restaurants, and recommendations
for dining, tourist attractions, aquatic and community activities,
day spas and babysitters.

The Admiral's Place is designed to sleep 13 people comfortably; therefore, we respectfully request our guests not to exceed that number.
