Nestled on a level tree studed 1/2 acre lot, this cozy four bedroom cabin is in the heart of Twain
Harte, close to town but on a quiet street. Twain Harte lake is a short 3/4 miles away past the
serene Twain Harte golf course. The cabin has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. It has 3 queen beds, 1 double,
and 2 single beds each located in an adjoining alcove of two of the bedrooms. A 14 x 40 foot porch
allows comfortable days and evenings barbecuing, lounging and relaxing for you and your family.

Twain Harte is in the heart of the sierra gold country at a comfortable 3800 foot elevation which
allows one to escape the valley heat and low enough to not be permanently in the snow.
Twain Harte Lake is the focal point of the summer season, it is a warm mountain lake and is fully
lifeguarded in the summer, no motor boats a snack shack, bingo, free swim lessons, volleyball and
water slides are available for the kids, it also has many friendly people.
Twain Harte has golf course, minature golf, many nice restaurants, tennis, community park and
weekly free events. It also has a major super market and shopping center with reasonable prices. In
addition you are at the hub of the sierras and gold country and are both rich in history
It is close to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort which is only about a 20 minute drive. Dodge Ridge is a great
family place with new management which is committed to expanding and making the resort a fun and
affordable destination. The ski school is one of the best in the U.S. and the terrain goes from
bunny hills to
some suprisingly good black diamond runs. Newer and faster ski lifts have been and are continuing to
be installed, also a new lodge was opened for the 2008 ski season

Twain Harte is in the hub of the Sierras and Gold Country with many places and activities for your
pleasure. Historic mining towns of Columbia and Sonora are close by, all rich in history. If your
looking for adventure then repel down a cave at one of the caverns, or take a bi plane ride in
Colombia, water ski at one of the large lakes in the area, white water raft down one of the forks of
the Stanislaus or Tuolumne Rivers. Ski one of the easy or challenging runs at nearby Dodge Ridge or
Bear Valley Ski Resort which is a little farther away, also toboganing is nearby at a snow
park.Yosemite is nearby however it is a minimum of a 1 1/2 hour drive on a fairly windy road but it
is a wonder to behold in
summer or winter. Horseback riding is nearby in the Higher Sierras with hourly or up to weekly trips
avail.
