Vacation Rental Description

Sky Valley Lodge is located just 5 miles from the center of the picturesque and beautiful Victorian 
seaport town of Port Townsend, Washington.  We are at the north end of the secluded Sky Valley, with 
expansive views of the valley and mountains above.  Our unique location on a quiet private airstrip 
allows for a chartered flight to land directly at the lodge.  (We are not on a busy airport - our 
airstrip lands about 2 - 4 small aircraft flights per week).  Of course, you can drive here also!  
We offer a 2 bedroom private vacation rental which is fully furnished and supplied with everything 
you need to have an enjoyable and relaxing vacation (except you bring the food!).  It is so peaceful 
here in our beautiful valley that you may never want to leave!

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our rustic and spacious 1200 square foot two bedroom vacation rental is fully furnished and supplied 
with everything you need to have a relaxing and wonderful vacation - just bring your food!   

Bedrooms: The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has matching twin size beds 
with Select Comfort "Sleep by Number" mattresses for ultimate comfort.  Both bedrooms have a dresser 
to store your clothing. The master has a desk too.  Sheets, pillows and blankets are supplied.

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully supplied with pots, pans, dinnerware, silverware, can opener, 
corkscrew, toaster, microwave, full size refrigerator and full size range and oven.  There is even a 
hand carved wood bar with seating and a pass through from the kitchen to the living room. 

Bathroom: The oversize bathroom has a shower stall, but no tub.  Towels are supplied.

Living room: Bench seating all around the large picture windows, plus a TV, DVD player and state of 
the art stereo system.

Outside: Enjoy our outside deck with north and south views of the valley to sip your morning coffee, 
or an evening glass of wine.

Sports:  Feel free to use our basketball court, or play a game of volleyball or badminton.  Take a 
hike on the nearby Larry Scott Memorial Trail, or just stroll around our 11 acres of pristine land.

Water: Our water deserves mention because we have the most natural, cleanest, freshest and most 
delicious water from our well!  No need to bring bottled water with you!

We are very sorry, but this unit is NOT wheelchair accessible.

Activities and Attractions

The Northern Olympic Pensinsula is a place of unmatched beauty; from the majestic Olympic Mountains, 
to the wide open valleys, the waterways, harbors and charming towns.  There are so many things to 
see and do here that it is impossible to list them all.  Anyone and everyone can find activities 
that suit their lifestyle and interests here. 

Just a 5 minute relaxing walk from Sky Valley Lodge will bring you to the picturesque Swiss Lavender 
Farm.  They grow lavender and hand craft their own soaps, lotions and other natural products on 
site.  The most charming gift shop in the world (Swiss style - complete with real grass roof!) is 
absolutely filled with just about anything and everything you can imagine that has to do with 
lavender. 

If you are into hiking or bicycling, the Larry Scott Memorial Trail is about a 5 minute walk from 
Sky Valley Lodge.  This is a relatively easy and peaceful trail used for hiking, bicycling and horse 
back riding.

Travel in style and avoid the summer and holiday traffic by flying directly to Sky Valley Lodge via 
Goodwin Aviation Company.  Our unique location on a beautiful and quiet private airstrip makes it 
possible for you to be flown here directly from most cities in Washington and Oregon.  Your private 
flight will land you literally 300 feet from the door of Sky Valley Lodge!  (Transportation to the 
local car rental company can then be arranged.)  We are about a 30 minute flight from Seattle.  
Goodwin Aviation also offers aerial tours of the Olympic Peninsula as well. 

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates: High season is June 15th - September 30th
Low season is October 1st - June 14th.

High Season Monthly           $1800 
High Season Weekly            $650 
High Season Weekend           $450 (3 Nights anytime - weekend or during the week) 
Low Season Monthly            $1350 
Low Season Weekly             $500 
Low Season Weekend            $350 (3 Nights anytime - weekend or during the week) 
(Optional) Grocery Shopping   $25 plus cost of groceries.  We take a one time trip to the local 
grocery store for you before your arrival to get your basic food supplies (such as bread, milk, 
eggs, coffee, juice, etc.).  This way, you have food waiting for you in the fridge when you arrive!
This is for up to 5 people.  Maximum allowed is 5 people.  Rate is for 2 adults only - $20 per night 
charge for each additional adult. This is a NO SMOKING UNIT - smoking is not allowed inside.  Sorry, 
no pets.

RESERVATIONS:  $100 deposit will confirm your reservation.  Please let us know of a cancellation two 
weeks in advance.  VISA and MC can be accepted - but will incur a 3% fee.  Payment with cash, 
Travellers Cheques, Postal Money Order or certified check is preferred. Directions will be emailed 
upon request or with confirmation of reservation.
