Vacation Rental Description

Beautiful one-storey Arizona adventure holiday home in unbeatable,
desert setting.  Fully furnished, spacious (2,200 sq ft) 3 BR, 2 BA,
LR, DR and den.  Huge deck (800sq ft and ideal for “al fresco”
breakfasting, dining), gazebo with romantic views.  Great for 
couples, families, extended families, multi-family or business
get-aways.  Home comfortably sleeps 8 (or 10 with younger children).
	Lovely, tastefully furnished cabin in a southwestern style.
 Master suite and den feature soaring vaulted ceilings with romantic
moonlight windows.  Central heating and A/C.  Three fireplaces 
provide cozy comfort and seasonal cheer for the holidays.  Ample 
closet and storage space.  Whirlpool bath, separate shower and 
double sinks in master bath.
	Relax in unbelievably soft comfort in over-overstuffed 
chairs and comfy couches throughout.  All couches are hide-a-bed.  
Fun bunk-beds for the kids.  Well-equipped, spacious kitchen with 
traditional appliances, incl. microwave, large fridge, automatic 
dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, hand mixer, and more.  Pre-
stocked linens & towels.  Laundry room with full-sized W/D and mud 
sink.  My wife and I rebuilt this cabin in 2003 as a home-away-from-
home.  We keep the place spotless and perfectly maintained.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Beautifully decorated home privately located, away from hustle and
bustle on 2/12 acres.  Fully stocked for short-term or long-term
stays.  Four (4) TV’s, each with satellite, provide for private and
varied viewing enjoyment, VHS, DVD.  Convenient neighbors.  Enjoy
fabulous Arizona sunsets with a glass of wine on the enormous deck
overlooking mountain desert scenery.  Starry, silvery Arizona nights
are beyond compare - no light pollution(!) – bring your telescope. 
Clean, balmy air.  BBQ.  Gorgeous lighted cactus and desert 
landscape.
 Supermarket in town or convenience store in village.  Restaurants
(and the “famous” trivia quiz at the Bad Ass Steakhouse).  Outlet 
mall shopping nearby (10 min).

Activities and Attractions

Black Canyon is 45 min. north of Phoenix airport, 20 min from
Montezuma’s Castle and Well, 40 min from Sedona, 60 min from
Flagstaff, and 3 easy hours to Grand Canyon South Rim – one of the
world’s natural wonders.
        Golf facilities abound in Arizona.  Exciting dude ranch down
in the valley (1½ mile) with old west town, saloon, cantina, horses 
of course, sleep-over teepee village, shooting, western sunrise
breakfasts and western pastimes (reduced rates for residents) and 
real cowboys.  Outlets at Anthem just 7 miles from Black Canyon 
boast one of the largest natural Christmas tree displays each year 
in Santa's Village.
	On site or nearby: Golf, swimming, tennis, working out, 
hiking and biking.  Dining out.  Sightseeing and day trips.  Hot air 
ballooning.   Horseback riding.  Lake Pleasant for boating and
fishing.  Health spas and movie theaters (Anthem).  Shopping, sporting
events or... if you prefer... lounge and do absolutely nothing at all
in complete comfort and breathtaking surroundings.  Spend a day in
Prescott, Flagstaff or legendary Jerome ghost town (very much alive),
the Grand Canyon, or... just relax.  Visit beautiful Scottsdale for
world-class shopping, fine dining and the fine arts district.  Sports
stadiums in Phoenix, Tempe and Glendale (home of Superbowl 2007).

Vacation Rental Rates

Off-peak (May thru Sep): $500 weekly, $1,600 Monthly. (1 week 
minimum.)
Peak (Oct thru Apr): $700 weekly, $2,400 Monthly. (1 week minimum.)
Superbowl 2007: $2,400 week.
Cleaning fee: $80 per visit.

Reservation deposit of $250 (non-refundable in case of cancellation)
and security deposit of $500 required (fully refundable within 14 
days of checkout when property is left in the same condition as it was 
found).
