We also suggest the train to Poughkeepsie/ then you can be met by Enterprise Rental Cars ( they deliver you a car) and venture  out on your own.  ( eliminating that weekend CITY SUMMER traffic ).  Some of our guests found that a great option!

HITS is 15 minutes from our cottage and we are the most famous small town in state!(Horse shows in the sun).  We welcome all HITS guests as well.

We welcome all Levon Helm Ramblers/ 2 night minimum in the season. He is a friend of ours and FYI,  his studio is only 5 minutes from our cottage.

$290 per night. 3 night minimum July and August plus tax and cleaning
fee ($100.)  Holiday weekends are a 3 night minimum also.
