The Third Summer, a Bed & Bed in Gettysburg

The Third Summer is our new twist on the old Bed & Breakfast. In The Third Summer you have a
complete kitchen and plenty of room and privacy to stretch out with family and friends after a long
day on the battlefields. Our newly renovated 1930's vacation home is the first of its kind in
Gettysburg and it's on one of the nicest streets in town. Located in the heart of Gettysburg, we
are a stone's throw from the historic Lutheran Theological Seminary, the National Military Park,
General Lee's Headquarters, Gettysburg College, and of course, The Pottery Poole. Within walking
distance to "the Square" and easy access to shopping,
dining, and site seeing, we are still your private respite from the beaten path.
Available for your exclusive use are two entire floors of a twin home. Fully furnished,
professionally landscaped and decorated.
NO DAILY MAID SERVICE. SHEETS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED.

Amenities include: a new covered front porch with mahogany floor, three bedrooms, two Queen beds
(one Sleep Number bed) and one full size bed, living room with one Click-Clack sofa
bed, dining room, complete kitchen with all new appliances including coffee maker, microwave and
range, dishwasher, new front loading HE washer and dryer, iron and board, window air conditioners,
two brand new full baths, one on the first floor with a 4' soaking tub & shower and one on the
second floor with a full size Jacuzzi tub & shower, new carpet, hardwood floors, decorative fireplace, deck, on
and off street parking, some garage space may be arranged.

Besides bursting with charm and history, Gettysburg has a myriad of attractions for our visitors
from miniature golf to championship golf courses and shopping from outlets to antiques. We have art
galleries, wineries, theater, horseback riding and bicycle tours just to name a few. It is exactly
10 miles from our front door to Liberty Mountain Ski Resort. We're only an hour and 40 minutes
north of Washington, D.C., two hours and 30 minutes west of Philadelphia and less than 60 miles
north west of Baltimore,MD. Best of all, for the kids and candy lovers off all ages, we are only an
hour from Hershey, Pa, home of HersheyPark and "the sweetest place on earth"!

Our rates are:
$250 for one night
$450 for two nights
$645 for three nights
$820 for four nights
$975 for five nights
$1110 for six nights
$150 each additional night after six nights up to 14 nights. Rates are subject to 6% State Tax and
3% County
$30 each additional adult/teenager per night.
Related children under 13 years of age are welcome at no extra charge.
