scenic Island, wide beaches and ocean, eat great seafood and take in
many Island entertainments including museums, planetarium, golfing,
water slides, putt putt and fishing. To the south you can take a 30
minute drive to North Myrtle or Myrtle Beach areas where you will
find amusement parks, shopping centers, golfing and great
restaurants. To the North you can travel 30 minutes to South Port
or Historic Wilmington. There you will find Ferry rides to Fort
Fisher and the NC Aquarium, Bald Head Island tours, and great
resturants. A few minutes on down you can visit Historic Wilmington
and the Historic water front shops and famous restaurants and see
the USS North Carolina Battleship.
